Walk for miles, enjoying northern views of majestic Neahkahnie Mountain. When you retreat to your home after a long day of exploring the coast, you’ll find a classic Oregon cottage with wood-lined walls, a vaulted ceiling, and tall windows that take full advantage of the ocean views. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV/DVD, a CD player, and books to keep you entertained. The dining room beside view windows opens to a wind-screened deck for extending your dining options from the fully equipped galley kitchen. The primary bedroom has a walk-in. If access to the beach is at the top of your wish list for a coastal stay, On the Sand is a classic choice!

Wonderful beach house - almost completely renovated recently - so has a clean and fresh feel in bedrooms, bathrooms, etc. The south side patio with wind screens perfect for the manzanita afternoon winds, and the short 2 minute walk on the dunes/sea grass trail is sort of fun, like a little adventure each time. Can still hear and see a bit of ocean even though there are dunes in between house and beach. Only recommendation relates to convenience. When staying at a house with a family one needs more than 1 tiny bottle of dish washing soap, and shampoo/soap, and 2 pods of laundry soap, for example. And there were a number of small, yet somewhat annoying things like this - especially for a family who flew in from 4 parts of the country and cannot just buy a bottle of shampoo and bring it home. Also, the 10am check out is too early. Paid for 7 days and nights, but got in only 6.5.

Exactly what we were after. Short private path over the dunes out to the beach. Quiet. Incredibly comfortable beds. You could even see the ocean from the living room. It was perfect.

Good stay but Meredith lodging needs to really work on their check in process. They typically have locks that do not work. This is not the first time. This happened to me at the property that I've rented. They take Payment outside of the Vrbo payment system, so getting any money back or refunds is problematic as well.
