No breakfast. It was out of town.
We were surprised to be asked for a $300 bond and to be required to provide identity documents on-line. These are expectations of a high end hotel in a major city not a rural cottage. The only people on site to help were other guests. The place was freezing when we arrived. It would be good for someone to put on the AC. The fireplace is integral to making the place warm, the AC doesn't warm the whole place. No firewood was provided. No matches in the house. Our neighbour had an axe so we could get some firewood from the property. We purchased some firewood.

Spacious for 2 good hot shower
TV wouldn't work, it said the Antenna was unplugged or service was down.

It’s in a beautiful location, very peaceful. The room is huge! Bed is big and comfy, water in shower gets hot but takes a little time, plenty of kitchen amenities for making breakfast. Close to town for cafes and pubs (driving distance 5-10 minutes)
A very surprising and upsetting deposit of $300 expected after booking! You can’t get access to the room without paying it and it’s not mentioned in booking.com that I could see. Was really unexpected and for this we wouldn’t stay again. Also far too many messages, I got sick of the notifications.

Location on the hill overlooking the valley & close proximity to Tanunda was great.
Seating on the veranda was nice is the afternoon sun
Garden was old, tired, damaged & rubbish lying around, unsafe.
Broken chairs, hoses, outdoor lights, gate beside lodge rooms.
Key not in the lock box
Dirty cutlery, used soap bars in the shower, used moisture bottle, bedside cupboard not wiped clean.
Limited lighting outside.
BBQ was dirty, & broken furniture by the fire pit.
Building inside is tired with an old motel room feel, kitchen has been patched up (cupboard door & taps)
