The lodge exceeded our expectations! The decor is lovely, plenty of space and has everything you need! Lots of brochures for things to do in the area, board games and children's books. T.V in both bedrooms as well as the living area. Great location and the park had lots of amenities, literally 10 minute drive to Windermere town. Great wifi signal and hot tub was lovely, but downside is it's quite noisy during the night. Would love to stay here again soon!
Only a few downsides but didn't ruin the experience.
The double bed in the main bedroom is very small and not that comfortable, hard as there wouldn't be enough space for a larger one, which we understand.
Can hear the hot tub quite loudly on and off during the night which was annoying.
The living room T.V is a smart T.V but we couldn't get anything to work. Could only watch satellite.
No pizza cutter or tongs in the kitchen.

This property was very well presented, clean and tidy, the bed was comfy, the hot tub was a great addition to the property. I would definitely stay here again

These were some of the good points:
- Very clean throughout
- Well equipped kitchen - everything we needed
- TVs in both bedrooms
- Drained hot tub between visits
- Helpful extras like blankets, hairdryer & plastic glasses
- Dishwasher and plenty of tablets
- Lovely rainfall showers
- Plenty of storage and hanging areas
- Lovely decorative plants and pictures
- Site has good facilities, a small arcade and a large bar/restaurant with night entertainment. We didn't use this in the end but a good option.
- Two spaces of parking for each lodge (probably more in the larger ones, ours was 2 bed).
Overall this was a lovely modern lodge and great value for money at just over £100pp for the full weekend Fri - Mon.
There were a few issues:
- Hard thin mattresses. This was the biggest problem for us, none of us slept well and all had back ache the whole weekend which ruined it a lot for us. Some mattresses toppers would be a cheap solution to this. PS we are only 29/30 so not prone to back ache.
- Hot tub on permanent Eco mode so very little bubbling, more just like a big bath.
- Advertised a smart TV but it doesn't connect to Internet, so it is not Smart, couldn't use Netflix, Prime, etc.
And some things to be desired:
- No DVD player
- No soap or shower gel (I've never seen this before!)
- No welcome pack - useful for how to use the dishwasher, suggestions in the area, etc.
- Check in 4pm and check out 10am was quite late/sharp. Most places are 3pm/11am and this allows you to make the most of the first day and not rush around on the last.

great location, close to the lake. good size for a family of 4. hot tub
hot water wasn’t working properly in both showers, kept swapping between cold/hot. I found a flea in my shirt while laying down in the living room on my last night, even though we do not have a dog, it seems the place accepts dogs.
