Chameleon Hill is much more than a lodge, it's an experience in itself. You have to come and experience it yourself. Just make sure to bring enough time, they offer a wide range of activities and it's also the perfect place to slow down and just be.

Exceptional – a truly magical place near Bwindi
Chameleon Hill Forest Lodge is one of the most beautiful and unique places I have ever stayed. Nestled in lush nature close to Bwindi National Park, the lodge feels like a colorful sanctuary overlooking Lake Mutanda – the views are absolutely breathtaking.
Each cottage is individually designed, full of character, and incredibly cozy, blending vibrant artistic details with comfort and elegance. Waking up surrounded by misty hills, birdsong, and fresh mountain air was unforgettable.
The staff are outstanding – warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You feel welcomed not as a guest, but as a friend. The food deserves special mention: delicious, beautifully prepared, and made with fresh local ingredients.
This lodge is the perfect base for gorilla trekking, but honestly, it’s also a destination in itself. Peaceful, inspiring, and full of soul. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Chameleon Hill Forest Lodge to anyone looking for a special, memorable stay in Uganda.
