Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in hotel. In easy reach of many local tourist attractions. Food very enjoyable - especially breakfast!

Hot water in bathroom was a bit lukewarm, and slow to deliver!

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Rooms were lovely and cosy. Ate in the bar, food and service excellent.

Around the swimming pool could do with a spruce up

We had to ask for robes to got to the pool three times. We had asked someone who was cleaning rooms nearby who wrote it down and promised to send some to our room, they didnt arrive. We rang down to reception and they still hadn't arrived in 10 minutes. We then asked another member of staff cleaning rooms who then fished some out of a large bin for us! I also think when a pool is used publicly it should be made clearer. We booked the place for the pool facilities to relax - it was full of adults sitting at the side whilst their kids had a swim lesson - all afternoon. This was not the relaxing pool break we expected.
