No.1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa

The building itself is a beautiful historic example and the room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, incredibly helpful during check-in and check-out not only explaining car parking and the facilities, but offering to help with my suitcase. The south American bartender was lovely and made great margaritas. Breakfast was wonderful with hot dishes made to order, fresh orange juice and options to have a variety of styles of coffee (I had a French press). I had a facial at the spa, which was luxurious and huge taking up the entire basement floor. If I could afford it, I would have had longer treatments.

The view from the room was straight onto another building, but you can't really change that with a property like this. The location feels a bit away from the action, but that is also good as it is quiet and was right next to a park which I didn't get to explore.

Included made to order breakfast was delicious. Room had big windows with nice view.

Almost everything

My room was the Tynan and the kitchen cooling system made a humming noise. This was situated under my bedroom window. It went off at 10.00 pm & back at 7.00 am. You’ll need to sound proof the windows.

The staff at No. Pery truly make the experience what it is; everyone was so thoughtful, kind, and helpful. Lovely meal in the Long Room for dinner and two delicious made to order breakfasts. The in-room tea service is a lovely touch, as is the soaking tub and complimentary bath salts. Such a relaxing stay, and would be delighted to return!

Only request would perhaps be a hairdryer in the room, and a little more variety in the pillows on the bed - they were nice and full which was great for reading, but I prefer something a little flatter for sleeping.
