They charged me for a cheap, fragile plastic chair that broke immediately when I used it. It felt unfair and almost like an ambush. Disappointing way to treat a guest.

Location is very good. Railway station, Metro, bus stops are very close to the Hotel. View from the room was excellent. There are lot of Restaurants, Cafe's in surrounding area. Cleanliness was good. Staff members on reception counter were very helpful.
Size of the room was too small but other than that nothing to complaint about the property.

Late check-in is very well accommodated.
Clean, updated bathroom.

Within walking distance from Gare Montparnasse (about 7-8 mins walk).
Seems like a safe neighbourhood.
Small elevator (expected in old buildings in a city like Paris).
Very busy neighbourhood even in the early morning (this can be a positive or a negative, depending on your personality).
