Old school hotel that keeps up with its renovations and updates while maintaining its traditional allure. No nonsense, super clean, everything worked, very helpful and kind staff. Location worked for my needs but it's not central in Varese.
I personally did not like the pillows - luckily one of them was a little taller and softer. A friend traveling with me noted the same issue. Maybe they would have had options but I did not ask for a different one. Otherwise everything was perfect.

It's very charming and quaint
We struggled to get a taxi from the location to the venue of the wedding I had come down for so I'd say drive down yourself or book a taxi well in advance
