Extraordinary location, great breakfast in a really historic setting, comfortable beds, perfect service.
The rooms could need some renovation/repair, but still ok and nevertheless a perfect host experience.

The hotel is located in a beautiful park. But there don't seem to be any cafes nearby and since there are no facilities in the hotel, and no breakfast either at weekends, you are pretty much just paying for a room and will have to take taxis or walk some distance just to get a cup of coffee, let alone food and drinks.
It's poorly lit and hard to find your way into the hotel after dark when the hotel reception is closed. Several of us spent some time stumbling about in the dark, tripping over bollards, until we worked it out. FWIW, if you stand with the castle behind you and the park entrance gate in front of you, you will see the hotel building on your left. Before you reach the hotel building, there is an opening on the left into a car park and courtyard. Ignore it! Instead continue as though you are walking towards the park gate, keeping the wall of the hotel building on your left. The hotel entrance is half way along that wall. Also btw, the coffee supplies in the room are not replenished at weekends, so take your own.
