Haus Rye B&B

The rooms were nice and it was great that we had a common balcony, with a gorgeous view towards the mountains. There are mountains pretty much all the way around so no matter where you look you still see mountains. The breakfast was very nice. And the hosts were very welcoming and attentive. We've got nice tips and we've had a wonderful stay. It's pretty easy to arrive to Hallstatt by bus or by train and boat, which is great since parking in Hallstatt is not easy. I think we've got a much better deal than if we were getting an accommodation in Hallstatt. The rooms were much better here. We've also enjoyed very much the restaurant "Uferwirt Seeraunzn" which is reachable either by car, but even more convenient by train (Obersee station). It has very nice food at reasonable prices and a gorgeous view over the lake and towards Hallstatt. It was also great that we've received the local tourist card that was giving discount to the cable car and other attractions in the area.

Beautiful house with cosy rooms. Spotless and spacious with a lovely balcony. The honesty bar was an excellent idea and we spent the evening in the dining room playing cards. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
