Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, especially on the rooftop. Staff were always so friendly and welcoming and the beds were incredibly comfortable. A short walk downhill to the sights of la candelaria.

The hotel is quirky but unique.
The hotel is compact and yet very nice.

The staff was great. We enjoyed the breakfast and the rooftop lounge area.
It is an older place with unique room configuration. There was a spiral staircase to the room and that was a challenge for getting bags to the room.

Passable location
Wifi worked decently
Exceptionally noisy rooms, had to fight tour groups to enter and random guests would stare or walk into room from German tour group. Bathroom sink leaked and hot water took forever. Toilet would not always flush. Terrible breakfast, only option if do not eat eggs is exceptionally sweet cereal as limit fruit available and bread is also not suitable. However tour groups were able to get extra options even though they pay less per night . Rooftop terrace has not looked like these photos in years. Too many hazards if have poor vision or mobility issues. Unable to organise a taxi at front desk as “too hard to ask for a sedan”
