We were very well looked after by the staff. The dinner on terrace was a wonderful experience overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. Had a good selection of fine Italian wines and as usual a top notch menu.
Was not very keen on the B'fast offering. Perhaps the expectations set by the previous evenings dinner was quite high....

The best hospitality we’ve ever experienced. Claudia and the staff were so kind, welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again one day!

Our dinner on the first night was excellent, sadly the second evening did not live up to expectations. The fish was overcooked and the vegetables were cold. It took 20 minutes to get a waiter’s attention, by which time my husband had finished his meal, so it was too late to change mine.
The breakfast was fine.
The hotel is in a quiet location with a stunning view.
Our junior suite was in a converted attic, only reachable by climbing up 75 stairs! The large bathroom had no towel rails and no hooks for bathrobes. When flushing the loo, one had to stand well clear as the water gushed over the pan.
It was described as having a terrace and balcony. There was just one tiny terrace.
