I arrived at the property and was told that our reservation was not sent to the property by Expedia and was told to leave the property for two hours until they straighten things out. TV did not work. The toilet did not flush. There was a gap in the balcony door, where the handle was torn out. The bathroom door did not close.. there was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Etc. etc..

The common areas are dark and dingy. The door on the room has a simple lock with no dead bolt or chain, while the Small TV is in cased in rebarb. So they have extreme security for their TV, but nothing for your belongs. It’s unbearably noisy. Street noise out of the sliding door and lounge music blaring from the courtyard. They did not receive my reservations from Orbitz and told me that they dont use Orbits for booking even though I showed them the email. So I was exhausted and tired, so they told me to cancel the two day reservation that I had and pay for a single night. So far no refund. They told me they couldnt do it and to talk to Orbitz. So far. no refund. Besides no safe in the room, I rented a safety deposit box for $5, but it was 3 inches wide, too small to hold my Ipad and other valuables. The lobby shuts down at 10:30, so there is no drinkable water in the room or lobby at that time. Not the best.

I was so disappointed , the room was not properly clean, there was a couple that stayed in the room before me, their slippers were still there, seems like they were on their moon. There was hair in the bathroom sink. Just disgusting, room need a lot of work . Window curtains need to wash. May I truly believe that they should inspect the room before putting anyone in there. experience was not good.

I expected clean usable towels. The towels are thread bare. The sheets were dingy. I used one use sheets to cover the bed. They really need to invest in new linen and towels.

The service was on point. Friendly staff and willing to help. Property is clean. I have nothing bad to say about this Hotel. I have been coming to Mobay for 7yrs and have stayed in many hotels. So far this is my favorite and i look forward to staying there on my next trip.

This hotel needs some TLC, make it more comfortable. Looks nothing like the pictures, gives MOTEL. I stayed out and partied just so I wasn’t there for long 😂 wasn’t comfortable at all.

I reserved a room with one king size bed and settled with what they had remaining. Upon arrival, it took 1 hour to check in because they overbooked the rooms. The airport that day cancelled all their flights, mine included. so all the travelers scrambled to get a room because the airport didn’t allow overnight stay. Many others were turned away that came after us. As we entered the room, housekeeping was leaving from just barely readying the room before we arrived. Thinking back on it, they reception desk delayed our checkin because the room was ready. Keep in mind this was 5:30 in the evening, beyond checkin time. The room has no windows or a peep in the door, the tv was not functional, toilet seat loose, bathroom facet flew off when water turned on, no ventilation in bathroom, sheets were damp.

Had a flight delayed overnight so needed emergency lodging. Hotel was recommended by airport staff. Expedia entry for hotel indicated they had a free shuttle from airport. I called to make arrangements. They asked how I made my reservation. When I said Expedia they said they needed to call me back. After a hour there was no call back. My wife called and was told we would get a call back. After 30 minutes with no call back my wife called and got the same "we will call you." I was clearly concerned, but we walked to the hotel, anyway, as it was close on level ground. We forgot that the walkways would be difficult and there would be lots of mosquitos.
On our arrival at the hotel, the desk personnel said they were overbooked and were not accepting any web reservations and we, along with many others, were told to leave. We looked for other lodging, found none and settled into the airport for the night.
I requested a refund and Expedia called the hotel. Hotel said they had my room and were waiting for me! My personal impression was that with the cancelled flights that the hotel wanted to skip out on the Expedia fees and only do direct bookings, leaving one room available for complaints.
Nothing Expedia did or said gave me that impression, it is strictly mine. Expedia was very prompt and professional in handling the situation. I was told I would receive a full refund, but the refunded amount was short $15, which I am ignoring as part of my education.

I loved that it was close to everything! Very nice and professional. Clean and very comfortable. I been to Jamaica over 30 times in the last 13 years . This hotel by far is my favorite and highly recommended

The Room was Dated towels needed to be thrown away the Main light fittings was literally hanging off the Bed . Would never ever go back there even if i was Desperate

Very well situated to airport. However don’t let the shuttle service as advertised fool you! Shuttle service is a taxi that you cover the fee.
Rooms very tired and need update. Linens very itchy and lowest quality.
Road outside hotel very noisy, expect limited rest.
Walking distance to a few restaurants.

Gloria the owner of the property is rude an do not know how to talk to her staffs or guests. The staffs on the other hand are nice and friendly. Sorry to Gloria need some customer s service skills.. If she speaks to her staffs with respect you would be amazed how they rally around her. No hot water in the room. Food is delicious. Hotel need a makeover.

The Old GrandDame is starting to show signs of wear. The towels and linens were well pass replace date. (New style Mattress was wonderful). And the Food was Fast and Fresh! Early morning and late night Music playing ( this is Jamaica, Mon) was a great bargain, this no tell Hotel. 9th stay here over 25 years...... Will stay my next visit also!!!

There was nothing I liked about the hotel, in fact it was quite awful. No hot water (at their choice), the first room was not was was booked and I had to be moved and had to pay extra just for a reasonable sized room, could not eat food from the onsite restaurant as I saw rodents there but the hotel allowed no outside food on the premises. only good thing is that it has a close proximity to the airport.

We spent one night at this hotel due to a flight the next day. If you like loud music from the bar playing from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. this is the place for you. Also because the pool (which is very nice) is right next to the rooms there is a echo when people are talking. There was a man that decided to sing at 6 a.m. and a few other men talking loudly at 7 a.m., because the space is small the voices carry so our stay wasn't very restful.

I stayed at the Gloriana Hotel on my way in and out of Montego Bay. I wanted to avoid the all-inclusive resorts that make up much of the Montego Bay travel scene. It is a medium sized hotel right off Sunset Road. It is close to the Glouster Avenue Hip Strip and about a five minute walk to the beach. It has a nice pool area and a restaurant/bar where you can get simple food and drinks. The lobby has a cool gallery of the famous owner.
The room had carpet that felt worn. There was a nice patio to sit out and enjoy the fresh air and street scene below the hotel. The accomadations were basic, expect economy hotel, but the sheets and room felt clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful for getting cabs and local information.
The hotel is close to the airport and right on a main road, however it was actually pretty quiet at night. A good place to stay for travel in and out of Montego Bay.

But more importantly, we paid the highest price for a room and felt like we got a room in a basement with no windows and very damp.

Easy check in. Did not do too much there since there is a lot of stuff in and around Montego Bay happening. I had a good night rest however. Late check out does wonders when you are out late at night

The hotel was close to the beach. Upon arrival of the hotel I was greeted. Friendly staff. I went to my room which is where I was pretty much disappointed. The room looked as if it had not been cleaned in months, the floor was dirty, the sheets looked dirty, the towels looked dirty. It was a good thing that I traveled with my own towels and rags. I had to ask the housekeeping to change the sheets. I had to sleep with a towel on the pillow as well. I was mostly there on business so I didn't spend to much time in the room but the bed was comfortable though. Breakfast was amazing, well seasoned. Only thing I would suggest is getting new utensils.
