Very new and neat room, perhaps 1km from Buchan town (food and hotel) and Buchan caves reserve (the major tourist attraction).
The caves are beautiful, and in autumn, the trees display intense colours.
There is a dedicated parking space close to the unit.
There were lots of native birds visible out the large window,
This unit does not come with WiFi, but I got good internet speeds from the Telstra mobile tower overlooking the town.
If you are desperate, you can park beside the Telstra public phone in town, and ger free WiFi.

The key collection process was simple and the location permitted an easy walk to the shops and the caves. The location was a little tricky to find at first , but being daylight I found the place eventually. This is basically a self contained motel room not a unit as per se , which is adequate for a night halt but not more than a stay one night .The shower was hot and after camping out in Alpine NSW in winter this was so good!.The Price is fair.
The bed was extremely soft.Not really much good at all.. I elected to sleep on my camping mattress on the floor with my sleeping bag instead.The heater was a bit iffy too. The Smoke alarm went off and I don't smoke. I had to get up on a chair and take the battery out in order to stop it making a piercing sound.The basin in the bathroom was not able to accommodate the size of the electric kettle in order to adequatey refill the said kettle.One chair had a wonky leg .After contacting the owner about these matters I got no reply so here is my actual impression in terms of the pros and cons of this accommodation option.
