We liked being beachside, the number of beds and rooms was convenient for our group size. The dishwasher, washing machine, and full kitchen really improved the quality of our stay in comparison with other hotels / rentals. The pool and lazy river were a highlight. This area of the beach is safer than some areas further south. We really enjoyed our trip.
Several members of our group said the blankets and pillows were thin. I would suggest bringing your own if you are concerned. I also suggest reading about the property before arrival so that you can prepare by bringing your own detergent sheets, dish tabs, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc. if necessary. This was not an issue for us, but it is something to be aware of.

Wonderful communication from the host the entire time. The view was beautiful
Both bathtub drains moved very very slow, floors in resort and in room seem dirty/stained. For the "cleaning cost" charged it seems a deep clean in due. The hotel has many issues with paint needed, elevator lights not working, smelly carpets, etc.

Location
Needs locks that work in bathrooms and more comfortable seating, couch was great though

The place was clean, great location beachfront.
The first Day was an absolute nightmare!!. There was an electrical outlet issue in the apartment.. The lights went out for several hrs,, after the stove oven seemed to blow up, and wouldn't work. The food was left incompletely cooked. We had to spend money eating out due to this! It was hot and we were in the dark! Including my 91 yr. old mother! This was an emergency, and the owner-manager refused my request to speak to me verbally over the phone! This placed a damper over our overall stay. Unfortunately this was not a good experience, overall.
