It was a lovely antebellum home which was a big reason for staying.
I had reserved a room with 2 queen beds but when we arrived, the room was already taken. We were not happy to have spent the money on one of us sleeping on a sofa bed. Fortunately, there was another room available so we each had a room but I was disappointed as I was not in the actual house.

The biscuits, the jam (not sure what flavor?), the quiche, and the pound cake. Also, the service... The beautiful outdoor patio and pool area. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Nice tour with plenty of historical info about the home and family.
The portions were too small and some of the food wasn't homemade as would be expected at a B&B (eggo waffles), also we stayed in the Dixie room and the AC struggled to maintain 72 degrees.

Great location, staff, and history.
The room was filthy. No extra blanket. No coffee creamer. No shelf in the shower. No outlet by end table. Couldn’t lower thermostat below 72. Had to move dresser to plug something in and it was DISGUSTING.
