Beautiful, paradise-like grounds, the birds in the morning were wonderful. Great breakfast and staff.
I was expecting mosquito netting around the bed, but there was none. Hot water was hard to get for a shower.

Good internet. Great breakfast. Hammock on the porch.
A bit of a drive from Santa Elena town and from Uxmal. No air conditioning so very hot and humid. Hair dryer not allowed. Room numbers are not light reflective so room was hard to find in the dark.

The cook was excellent. He made us a delicious breakfast. His soup and dessert at dinner were excellent. But what he had been instructed to prepare as our main course was not sufficient for the price we paid - we were presented with just three tacos as our main course.
The eco hotel was a wonderful idea, but it is rather run down - they obviously do not get enough visitors to make a profit. The grounds were not maintained - paths not swept
