An amazing base for exploring the west side of Crete

We loved our stay here! Beautiful location looking over the olive trees, gorgeous sunrise views, perfect sized for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. Perfect location to explore balos lagoon and Fallasarna beach ( our favourite) then back to the villa via Mouraki Taverna or the supermarket. The local bakery was also a great find!

The owner was extremley friedly and gave us a warm welcome. The communication was perfect and help was there within five minutes. The view is magnificent. Highly recommandation!

the Villas is amazing and modern!!!very very clean!. amazing view, bedroom very large with confortable bed, you have all what you think inside - > washing machine for clothings and dish, dryer for clothings . the water in the pool very clean and the view is really amazing!!!!

The views, the kitchen facilities, the pool - everything is excellent - no shortcuts, you are at a luxury home. We arrived very late and the owner was so kind that cooked us a very delicious dinner! Balos beach is a jewel.

The location gives you great views, but sure, it's a bit far from the beach, you need a car and the last 500m of the road are gravel.

Super location

The Villa was an old traditional stone house perfectly located for Falasarna Beach, Balos beach and for explore other beaches on the west side of the Island. Ghania is only about 45mins away by car. It was nice and private. There was a very nice view of the bay of Kissamos and the sea and nice to sit outside for breakfast. The owner Vagelis was super nice and helpful especially on our arrival as for some reason google maps had send us to the wrong location. Also provided some nice tips for us. Kitchen well equipped.

As i had booked I did not notice that there was 3 different villas and I thought I had booked the one on the main photo which look amazing rather than the older Villa where we stayed. In the end we spend most of our time exploring the area so was not an issue but just something to look out for if you staying for a longer period and plan to stay at the house a lot..

One step away from heaven

It's only been a week but we won't forget it easily. In this location it seems to be really one step away from heaven. The colors of the sunrises and sunsets we admired were enchanting. The accommodation is modern and equipped with everything you might need; the scenic and clean swimming pool; the strategic position to reach the most famous beaches of Crete. Finally, we will not forget the friendliness and helpfulness of Mr. Vagelis, the owner of the house who has always come to our aid. Thanks thanks thanks!

Perfect for us

Wonderful view, colorful sunrise. The owner was very nice and helpful. His wife even made musaka for us on the day of our arrival. It was delicious. The kitchen was perfectly equiped. The beds were confortable, the rooms were spacious, with modern and nice furniture.

Great, big house, nice pool, very nice and helpful host. Really clean place. Wifi worked really well. Great place for kids - they can have fun in the pool and yell as much as they want. You need a car to get there. Fully equipped kitchen, everything is there. Comfortable beds. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Scorpios in the house were a bit scary.

Faboulous

This place is a true gem! The villa itself is very comfortable, spacious and has a stunning vue (from the large terraces, the living room and the sleeping rooms. It has a lovely garden with a nice swimming pool. The house is perfectly equipped (kitchen, bathrooms etc.) The owner was waiting for us at our arrival and was always available for any help. he and his wife even offered us a delicious dinner! The location of the house is perfect. A great place for visiting the beautiful West-Crete! Thanks you so much Vagelis!

Absolutely lovely place to explore the western Crete

Everything was perfect Especially the view - overseeing the bay. Quiet remote location Small garden around the swimming the pool Spacey house with all the equipment you might need.. Extremely friendly and helpful host Ooh, and the sunrise..

The bedrooms are a bit darker .. but you wont to spend there too much time anyway as the rest of the house and the garden are great..

Unexpected view

Amazing, stunnig view, extraordinary villa and very helpful owners. We have received dinner after arrival (late at night) and also regular wine glasses when we asked for them. I would stay longer if I could. Close to the main beautiful beaches. In my opinion the best place in Crete!!

Excellent location, very good facilities

The villa looks more beautiful than in the pictures, we had a great view above the sea and olive trees. The design is authentic, the host is really nice: we had cold water in the fridge, coffee and even a home made traditional pie. Perfect!

This was the best holiday we've had in a long time. Beautiful house and most welcoming host!

This is a beautiful property with the most spectacular views from every single room, located in the wonderful Cretan countryside. Fully equipped with a relaxing pool, we felt no need to leave the house at all apart from buying groceries. Vagelis, the host, was very welcoming and helpful during our whole stay. Truly the most relaxing holiday we've had as a family in a long time. Thank you, Vagelis.
