About this villa rental
Perched on the edge of a small hamlet in Western Crete, this restored four-bedroom stone villa combines traditional character with modern comfort. The ground floor retains original features and exposed stone walls, whilst upstairs are four spacious, light-filled bedrooms. A private swimming pool overlooks the surrounding landscape with sea views.
Location highlights:
Chania Airport is 40 minutes by car. The Venetian city of Chania itself is 30 minutes away. Local towns Kissamos and Platanos are just 5 minutes' drive, offering tavernas and daily life. Falasarna's ancient ruins and beaches are 10 minutes away, as is the town beach and waterfront restaurants at Kissamos. The ferry port to Gramvousa island (known for its castle and remote beaches) is also 5 minutes by car.
The setting: Surrounded by natural landscapes with mature trees and local flora, this is an ideal base for exploring coastal and rural Western Crete.

Very spacious house in quiet surrounding, 15 min from Falassarna Beach and 5 min from next village. Nice pool, huge and cosy terrace with shade and cool rooms (June). Can absolutely recommend the place!

Lovely, large, comfortable villa in the olive groves. Incredibly peaceful. 10 mins drive to falassarna beach, past the bakery for breakfast, turquoise sea and sandy beach. Highly recommend.

Recently returned from 2 weeks in Crete - what a fabulous villa! Very spacious and comfortable and beautiful outdoors space.
The views are very special and The outside terrace is fantastic for entertaining, eating outside, relaxing, reading, or just chilling out.
Everything you need is in the villa, and we found the owners were extremely helpful.
Local beaches are sandy, and sea is clear you can walk out for awhile before it gets too deep - great for kids.
There are some really good local Taverna's/restaurants in Kissamos, and Platenos (about 10 mins drive away) so car hire is essential.
Local bakers and mini market 5 mins away in car.
The Villa is located in an unspoilt area of Crete - we would really love to return here again next year.
It was a wonderful place to stay in a great location and we would highly recommend it.
