The hotel had the best designed room we have stayed at. The room is a good size. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom has a proper size bath.

Breakfast is very good and the view is awesome.

Size of suite and location.

No cafe, bar or lounge. I couldn’t even get a cup of coffee in the restaurant as it was only for diners, and I was turned away. There was no shortage of table space. Paper cups in the suite. I feel I paid a lot for a suite, and to be drinking a glass of wine out of a paper cup was more than disappointing, I was cross. It is May 2023 and I feel Covid is now being used as an excuse to cut costs at the hotel. The video running in the elevators of beautiful Lotte hotels around the world was annoying as I wanted to find the facilities of the Daejeon Lotte I was staying in, not the fabulous hotels in other cities. But the facilities just weren’t available, as the lounge remains closed.

Difficult to control room temperature. It was set too high and thermostat control is not easy

I stayed for 28 nights on business and there was no room service for meals etc. when i booked it said there was a bar but this was closed the whole time. The restaurant in the evening was a set buffet at 75000 won. The buffet was good but I only used it once. From england no British Tv channels. Great for 2-3 days but after that I felt I was in a cell.

When using the AC for comfortable temperature 22-23C an awful smell of some sort of sewage came out (probably a lot of mold in the ventilation system). It was cold outside, so using air conditioning was a terrifying experience.

Perfect location, best views

Not in the center of the city, but right next to DCC. The sungsimdang bakery is also across the street. Breakfast is very good for its price. Room is comfortable with spacious desk space. Reception is very attentive.

The room door was very heavy. The lighting system is difficult to figure out.

Great location, nice personnel, it’s quiet

I am a little bit sensitive (freaking) about cleanness, that’s why I requested “super clean” room. Generally that’s what I got, BUT the carpet needs to be steam cleaned more often (when it’s not hight season at least) and I HATE FINDING HAIRS, which I did unfortunately. Paying for brand name Lotte you expect at least tidy room. Instruct your staff how to do clean ups better before check-in.
