Nice, mostly quiet room, comfortable mattress.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Breakfast was genuinely exceptional. Such skill and creativity were almost bewildering to find at a hotel buffet.
Facilities were useful and convenient. Business center open 24 hours, though quite small.
Curtains let quite a lot of light in. Some noise from outside the building in daytime.
Business center only had 2 PCs, and required some adjustment as: 1. guests connect their own devices and neglect to replace everything when done; 2. Everything is in Korean 3. Software is out of date (including security patches).

I stayed in Mecure Gangnam, Lee Design Yongin and this was the most expensive of the 3. I also had a last minute changed of appointment and wrote in to cancel the day before but was rejected. I then got my partner to call and I asked them in person on the day and was also rejected. I was prepared to pay some cancellation fees or something but was totally turned down (The cancellation fee would otherwise be the full sum of the night's stay).
The hotel wasn't even fully booked (quite obvious from some open empty rooms), so they could have easily done so and I would have gladly patronized them again. Hardware was so so and the staff even wrote me as a Chinese national in my check in slip (example of a small detail but it just shows how much they care about you).
It's safe to say I wouldn't patronize them again.
