This place offers a perfect stay in a beautiful, lush garden surrounded by vibrant flowers and plants. What truly sets it apart is the incredibly attentive, kind, and accommodating staff. They even have a sweet security guard on duty at night who ensures you get to your room safely
The breakfast is delicious with a variety of fruits, eggs, toast, tea, and coffee. They even made special pancakes for my daughters.
It’s the best location across the beach, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away.
This was one of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka.

Secret garden is the the right name: the little cottages are totally protected from the outside world by walls in a big overgrown jungle garden! Very nice staff, really good
Breakfast (unfortunately not before 8.15 h…).
In the downside: water cooker did not work, no plug to plug it in and the roof of the
Cottage and of the outdoor bathroom did not withstand the heavy night rain … my suitcase and my toiletry bag were right under the leaks and got somewhat wet…
Not to mention the firework noise that goes on till 10 pm, because Unawatuna is a party town obviously! But that is not the accommodation’s doing!
