Cabin was made by the host. Fantastic workmanship! Fine cajun seafood and bbq Friday to Monday in a microcosm made by the host. Great experience!

Very cute cabin. We liked the ambiance and the effort put into the cabin to make it rustic and unique. The location was appropriate for an overnight. Because it is on the highway. If we had kids with us or wanted to relax in the woods, we would have been disappointed. The bathroom had a very leaky faucet. I was concerned about the amount of water the owner was wasting. We couldn't get the TV to work. No big deal for us: we brought books, yet if a TV is offered, it should work. Overall, we enjoyed the cabin and the criticism is picky.

Cute cabin, not properly cleaned. Toilet did not flush, had note saying hold down handle, that worked every 5th or 6th time. There was an additional bathroom that we found only because the door was left open to an additional bedroom area. The host was kind enough to let us use it. But told us if we slept on the beds we would be charged an extra 75 per nite. No problem, we just closed the door. Weird for sure. None of the outside areas was very well kept. We cleaned all tables and chairs. Cob webs everywhere. Not a huge bother to us, but definitely could have dusted a bit. Not sure if the owner ran the restaurant attached to the cabins or not, but if so he was really unprofessional when talking to his staff. Cursing them out. He was a bearded man who for sure did not enjoy whatever it was he did there. Seems as though he may have been the host, but not sure. He did not speak with us even when face to face. Bearded larger sized man. Girl doing the cooking?, and bringing us paper towels and such seemed super sweet and eager to please. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless it was ran by someone new. Its a neat place, but needs a good cleaning and a better restaurant manager. Overall needs better housekeeping and maintenance. Definitely needs better cleaning staff.
