Enjoy a peaceful country stay at Little House on the Ridge, a charming farmhouse tucked along the woods on 8 acres in the heart of the Ozarks. Whether you’re visiting family in the area, spending your days on the Buffalo National River, or simply looking for a quiet place to get away, this is a comfortable place to come home to.
Wildlife is part of the experience here, and deer are frequent visitors to the property. After a day of exploring, relax on the porch, grill on the back deck, gather around the fire pit, or simply enjoy the slower pace of country life.
The Buffalo National River is about 18 miles away, with several canoe outfitters nearby. You’ll also be within driving distance of Bull Shoals Lake, the White River at Cotter, and other favorite Ozarks destinations. Although the mailing address shows Valley Springs, the property is closer to the Yellville and Bruno areas.
Inside, the open living room and kitchen provide a comfortable place to relax and spend time together. The home has two bedrooms with queen beds. The second bedroom is a loft accessed by steep stairs, so please keep this in mind when booking, particularly for young children or anyone with mobility concerns. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping space and features an upgraded 5-inch Tempur-Pedic mattress.
The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals, and the back deck is conveniently located just off the kitchen for grilling and outdoor dining. Please note that the home does not have a dishwasher.
There’s plenty of parking, including room for a trailer, making it convenient for guests coming to enjoy the river and surrounding area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little House on the Ridge. The cabin was exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, organized, and ready for our family.The home had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend and made the perfect base camp for our Buffalo River adventure. The beds were comfortable, the furnishings were tasteful, and the cabin felt both cozy and spacious. We especially enjoyed the peaceful setting, the front porch, and the outdoor fire pit area after a day on the river.It is obvious the owners take great pride in this property. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the cabin is in excellent condition. If you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed place to stay near the Buffalo River, this is it.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful property. Angie is a great host and thought of every aspect of a travelers needs. She was always quick with answering our questions. The cottage is beautiful and is located on a quiet road on a ridge. Enjoyed seating on the porch and enjoying the stars and night sounds. We will be back.
