This house was perfect for a visit to my son who lives in West Campus. Lovely quiet street, great location and comfortable house. We felt really at home. Only sad part was that the weather was terrible so we never got to enjoy the cute backyard!

This house was very cute - just what we needed. We were in town visit UT Austin and going to a football game. The beds were comfortable and the house was clearly well loved. The location was super close to campus and good restaurants. Thank you.

Property is lovely. So much charm and totally fit our group of 4! It’s like staying at a family friend’s house!!! Easy walk to Juiceland (one of our favs!) and to walking path of Shoal Creek, and perfect for UT weekend! Thanks!

Nice little home, I liked that the beds, bathroom and kitchen were updated and clean. Easy parking for 2 cars, We walked to breakfast and campus. The owner was prompt to respond. The check in and out was easy.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute cottage near West Campus. It was close to everything we needed, was supplied with everything and was plenty of space for my husband, our dog and our daughter. Our student loved being able to walk to us and enjoy a cup of coffee and see us and her dog she had missed so much. It certainly will not be our last stay here!

My family of four stayed for two nights at Joan's lovely cottage. It is clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! We all enjoyed our stay, especially all the outdoor seating areas. Our family will definitely return!

What a lovely place and close to some fun eateries and action but on a quiet street. Also super close to the lovely Shoal Creek walk. The owner was very responsive and helpful. If we return to Austin we would want to stay here again!

This cottage is a perfect spot to call home while enjoying Austin. This home is comfortable and tastefully decorated with art and antique Persian rugs. We enjoyed walking our dog in Pease Park, being close to coffee, restaurants, and shopping. Joan made us feel welcome and provides a well stocked kitchen if you want to prepare a meal. If you are looking for a delightful spot just blocks from campus - this is it!

One of our favorite properties so far in Austin. West Campus location was great for visiting our UT kids. It was very cozy and our kids enjoyed a little home away from home. Great front porch. Friendly neighbors. Loved it!

We loved staying at this cozy 1930ish house. It felt so homey and cozy. The street it's on is narrow and a little busier than I expected. With no sidewalks, it is a little tricky getting out for a walk with the doggo in the mornings. However, there is a nice fenced-in yard to let your dog wander, and a beautiful and safe trail is nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much and especially loved the book collection housed there. I would love to rent this place during a wintery time and just cuddle up and read. We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioning worked very well.

From the minute we walked in the door, we felt comfortable in this darling, antique-filled bungalow. It was cozy and welcoming-almost like you were staying somewhere you've visited before. We had a great weekend and the host was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at San Gabriel Cottage in Austin and had a wonderful time. This cozy little house has lots of antique charm with some modern upgrades. We had everything we needed from extra linens to all the kitchen appliances one would need to make fabulous meals. The house was well appointed with beautiful artwork and many books for the book lover's enjoyment. We were less than a mile from UT Austin and countless other restaurants, parks, etc. The location was perfect and the owner was very attentive to our needs! We wish we could have stayed longer and cannot wait to return again. Thank you Joan!

As soon as you walk in the door, this house feels like home. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, well-tended inside and out. The pictures on Vrbo are nice but do not capture the charm of the cottage, small but easily accommodated five of us for our Thanksgiving celebration with all the trimmings. Our dog Snoopy loved the back yard and spent his time sniffing his surroundings and chasing squirrels. Joan is a perfect host, very responsive and understanding, a caring communicator. Thank you!

Thank you Joan for making the cottage at West Campus available for us for our 6 day stay. We enjoyed the comfortable accommodations, the well equipped and organized kitchen, and especially appreciated the over the top service when you received our Amazon package that arrived before we did and cared for our live flowers for our family’s special event that was scheduled during our visit! A bonus was the a great library and wonderful and interesting art collection that we enjoyed during our stay! It was perfect for us!
