About this cabin rental
Nestled in Fairmount Township, this charming cabin for $168 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. We invite you to enjoy our fabulous cabin on 7 acres of wooded land that is only 1 mile from Ricketts Glen State Park. The location cannot be beat, and the activities are endless! This cabin is located 1 mile from the trail head of Ricketts Glen State Park Falls Trail - home to 22 gorgeous waterfalls. The cabin is also in close proximity to Lake Jean - where you can rent a kayak/canoe, go to the sandy beach of the lake, swim, fish, or ice skate! The possibilities are endless!!! This all-wood cabin is rustic yet has all modern amenities - air conditioning, internet, DISH TV, fully stocked kitchen (utensils, place settings, glasses, cooking utensils, pots/pans), indoor gas fireplace, outdoor fire pit and park style charcoal grill. There is also a large deck for outdoor living space! The kitchen was newly remodeled too!! Come make yourself at home and enjoy your time! Note - There are landscape ponds on the property. Caution should be taken near water with children. A high chair and pack and play are also available for use. Linens - Sheets and Towels provided for an additional fee - upon request. Firewood is not provided but is sold nearby. Please purchase firewood nearby for the firepit. Due to lantern fly infestations in other parts of PA, we prefer you do not bring firewood from outside the area. Check-in: 4pm Check-out: 11am *Check-in/out times may be adjusted with prior approval. If check-out is later than 11am, not previously approved, and affects another reservation part of the security deposit may be withheld. When staying between Nov - April some snow accumulation should be anticipated in the area. A FWD, AWD, or 4WD vehicle is best for these conditions - as driveways and roadways may have some snow cover. We encourage all of our guests to purchase travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances and cancellations. 3/15/24 - Trail Advisory: The Falls Trail system is now fully open for the season!

This cabin was the perfect getaway spot. Quiet, comfortable, well equipped and in a gorgeous location we couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re looking to escape this is a fantastic place to do so.

**Beware of Hidden Charges and Unreliable Amenities**
We recently stayed at this cabin for one night, and our experience was marred by some concerning issues. The host attempted to charge us extra for cleaning and pushed a firewood package that turned out to be unusable due to excessive moisture. After departing, we received a message indicating an additional $115 charge for cleaning and unused firewood. This dishonest approach leaves us wary and disappointed, and we advise future guests to stay vigilant about potential hidden fees and questionable amenities.

This is a lovely bucolic setting close to Rickett’s Glen, which is absolutely one of Pennsylvania’s national treasures. The cabin is lovely, cozy and well-maintained.

Our trip and stay was fantastic! This house is great, exactly as advertised.
Really nice up-to-date kitchen, spacious sleeping arrangements, and lovely porches. I communicated with the host because we had some very heavy rain while we were there and they responded quickly and helpfully.
We had small children with us and it was very easy to baby-proof with a small baby fence we brought- made our stay safe and fun for all! We brought most of our baby gear but there was a pack-n-play and highchair at the house- super thoughtful!
We had fun hiking the falls, playing at the lake beach, and stopping at wineries despite the rain. Excellent, will return! Thank you!

The cabin was not well cleaned especially floors. Linens and towels are for rent feels being nickled and dimed. Not well sound proofed and near major road. Beds uncomfortable and noisy.

This property is exactly what we were looking for. Extremely close to Ricketts Glen State Park trails. The Cabin is Clean, Cozy and Comfortable with plenty of space for a family. The hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. We look forward to booking this cabin again in the Future!

Jess was great at communicating and responding to questions. The property was in a perfect location for our plans in the Benton area. It's fish theme went great with our fly fishing experience! The cabin was clean and stocked well with most things you would need. Hopefully we will be back!

The cabin was beautiful and the trails at Ricketts Glen was just a 10 minute ride up the road. Perfect time of year to see the falls. The owner was very responsive anytime I had questions.

A fantastic location on our way home from the Boston Marathon. The park is one of the best we have ever visited. The hills were a challenge two days after Boston but they were certainly doable.
