The duplex was nice sized and close walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. Any issues that came up, Sabrina answered and quickly fixed, even on Christmas Day!! My son enjoyed fishing from the dock daily; he brought his own rod and tackle. The beach was 3 blocks away; 4 beach towels, 3-4 chairs, and some buckets were provided. Overall a nice time.

This was a very lovely home that reminded me of old Florida charm! Everything was very clean and the pool was just lovely. It was so nice to swim and look at the canal. Very affordable for the location as the beach was just a few minutes away and the Lauderdale by the Sea area was just a few more minutes which made walking possible to all areas. I would definitely come back and stay there again! Sabrina was easy to reach and was kind to let us get a later check out date on the day of our departure.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of the pier, the beach, restaurants and shops. Dean and John ( maintenance and landscaping) were lovely and could not do enough for us. Found check in a little confusing as access was from 4 and we tried the code a few minutes prior, not realistic it was timed to release at 4. With no internet and no phone ( uk provider) we had to try and find free Wi-Fi and send email. This was stressful after a long and hot journey. I simple note on instructions to say it is time locked until 4 would be helpful. Accommodation is lovely and we enjoyed our time there

Great location but house is need of repair and maintenance. Garbage disposal doesn’t work therefore sink is full dirty water. Landscaping was awful. Roof had a plastic tarp over it. Swimming pool light fell out into the water, however the water was nice and clean. Dispute all of this we still had a wonderful time.

Great spot to bring the family and enjoy a short walk to everything southern Florida has to offer. Better than staying at a crowded condo complex. Pool was great and the central AC works. Overall a great place to stay. The ceiling in the small bathroom was peeling and the AC seems to keep one bedroom a lot colder than the other. The dryer sounds like it's on its last legs but it still worked when we were there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay at this charming vacation property. We found the cottage spacious and welcoming. The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach, patios, shops and restaurants. The backyard view overlooking the quiet waterway is quite special. The pool and patio were clean and comfortable, the BBQ worked well. We had the place to ourselves as there were no renters in the other unit. The home is well equipped with everything you need; we particularly appreciated the beach towels, chairs and umbrellas provided. We had a problem with the dishwasher which was taken care of promptly. As mentioned by other reviewers, the property could use some updating. We were able to overlook some minor imperfections for a great overall experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect - 5 min walk to beach, 10 min walk to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea restaurants, bars, gelato etc. 6 miles (we rode our bikes) to Ft. Lauderdale Los Olas restaurants and river walk. Yet, totally quiet neighborhood and great view out back with the pool and canal. Sabrina, the property manager, was super responsive to our needs. When we got there, there was not enough silverware, towels, other kitchen items. I texted her and she ordered from Target and had then sent to us delivered that day. Note the TVs not smart. However, Sabrina brought us a DVD with streaming connection so we could watch Netflix (our account). So nice! The kitchen is pretty small with little storage but ok. A couple of improvements could make this a super place - the sofas are very uncomfortable - you can feel the bedframe (its a pullout) through the cushions. BBQ grill pretty old and fuel should be supplied. The washer/dryer work but are on last leg. 2nd bedroom bathroom functions fine but ceiling is peeling. I noted to Sabrina who said owner planned to repair. Again, we had great stay and would definitely return and recommend this property.

Everything was great and met our expectations as advertised. Everthing was clean and in place, and in working condition. Location is excellent as you are within walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants in the area, some being just a short drive or Uber/Lift service away, and it is located in a nice quiet community. We really enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave. I would definitely stay here again and higly recommend it .

Wonderful place to stay for a family vacation. Our kids didn’t want to come back home. I think this is best review you can get. Beautiful view from living room, great swimming pool. Location absolutely great. Close to the beach and everything you need.

The photo on the VRBO is accurate. A wonderful way to wake up and go to bed, so relaxing, just looking at water. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, loved that parking was provided at no extra cost and free! While the neighborhood is quiet, just a few blocks away you have the beach, and a busy Main Street. You have a grocery store a plethora of eateries from fast food to Italian. I have relatives in Ft. lauderdale and this was super convenient for me. I would definite recommend this property for singles, couples, families - I can’t think of anyone that wouldn’t enjoy it . Read the details, full kitchen, washer & dryer, etc. you need to just bring your toiletries and bathing suit. Thank you for wanting my feedback, Anastasia

We rented both units, one for us and our kids, the other for grandparents and a cousin. Great location, walk to the beach or to shops and restaurants. Big master bedrooms, living rooms, plenty of space for 7 people. Enjoyed the pool, almost got to use the dock as well. Kitchens were well stocked with utensils, tools, cookware, plates etc. Worked well for a distanced Thanksgiving!

First off, I loved the view from the pool area into the water canal. The home is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The dining/restaurant strip was very lively while still adhering to the social distancing protocol in place. The pool was great and outdoor shower was a plus! There were plenty of utensils, wine glasses, plates etc etc. I will definitely recommend to friends and family. It was a great vacation and I can definitely say that we felt like home.
