About this house rental
Treat your family to this Ocean Front vacation house that will be sure to be a favorite for years to come! The elevator makes it very convenient for groceries and members of the family who may have some mobility issues. There is an amazing lighted walkway that goes directly from the 2nd floor of the house to the dune top gazebo. Meaning that family members can watch the beach and ocean in the comfort of an ocean front gazebo without every having to go up and down stairs! This is a rare find on the Outer Banks, so be sure to grab your favorite vacation week while it is still available! With plenty of outdoor spaces and seating as well as a very comfortable ocean front sun room, there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their vacation home.
Top Floor: Nicely appointed kitchen with breakfast bar (3 bar stool), dining area (seats 10), ocean front sun room with beverage fridge & table (sets 4). Living Room (TV/ Stereo), deck access, 2 couches, 1 love seat and an over sized chaise lounge chair and amazing views in every direction. A sunset Deck, Queen bedroom with semi-private bath (door to bedroom and a door to the living room area). King Master Bedroom with TV and ocean front deck.
Middle Floor: Large game/ family room with ocean views, deck access, TV/Stereo, shuffle board, bumper pool & multi - game table. Ocean Front master bedroom with 2 Twin beds, TV, deck access. Ocean Front Queen master bedroom with TV & deck access. Bedroom with 2 Twins & 1 Bunk and TV shares a full hall bath with Bedroom with a Queen bed and a Twin Bed and TV.
Extras: Elevator, Private lighted Beach Walkway to Dune top Gazebo, Game Room, Private Pool & Hot Tub (Memorial Day to Labor Day), Gas & Charcoal Grills, WIFI, Basketball, 8 TVs. Loved the walkway to beach and fact that location was better not being close to a public access point. The kitchen was very well stocked with specialty cookware, tools of all sorts and in good condition. However the ice maker was slow and noisy and could not keep up with demand. We also had to budget fridge space, thought the one fridge and a dorm fridge were not enough fridge space for a large group. The house was very clean, maybe a tad outdated furnishings. I appreciated the walk-in shower in King master. The pool didn’t seem to filter well. We called and a service person supposedly came, but maybe the filter mechanism needs maintenance. Overall we enjoyed it and had a good week. It just wasn’t our favorite of all time, and we have been coming to OBX over 40 years.

We had a wonderful vacation to the OBX! We stayed for 2 weeks and the house was perfect for our family of 10. Easy and private access to the beach, private pool, plenty of room. The ocean view from the deck was gorgeous - we enjoyed sitting there in the evenings at sundown. We'll be back!
