This cottage was immaculately clean and the perfect location for day trips around Northern Door County, including the fun shops in Ellison Bay being a walkable few blocks from our front door and both Newport State Park and Ellison Bluff less than 10 minute drives. We were happy to find many accessible trails in the parks, and grateful that the cottage was dog-friendly. The private yard was perfect for a campfire in the evening, and the covered porch was a great spot for a quiet breakfast outdoors. The host was very communicative without being overly present, which we appreciated. The beds and futon were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed for making our own meals, and the island countertop was an excellent place for our arts & crafts activities. The peacefulness of the cottage was so welcome after some of the busier days we spent in Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Ephraim. We really enjoyed our stay!

The cottage was super cozy and really beautiful. The location was amazing super close to restaurants and coffee shops! We had an amazing time here and will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Sunny Cottage in Ellison Bay. The walkable location is wonderful. We enjoyed the wrap around porch, peace and quiet. The cottage is well furnished and pleasant. Communication with the owner was great - promptly responsive. The fresh flowers and cherry tart were nice touches. We were glad to be able to bring our little dog with us as well.
