About this cottage rental
Located in Pennsylvania, this charming cottage for $162 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This pleasantly perfect cottage is located 10 minutes from downtown Gettysburg and within minutes to some of the best wineries Pennsylvania has to offer. As you pull off the road you will be on 30 acres of private Property. Snuggled back in the woods Apple Blossom Cottage is perfect for a couples retreat or friends looking to get away. This 550sf cottage has a charming feel, queen bed, full bathroom, and kitchen. All toiletries, fresh luxurious linens, Egyptian cotton towels, and kitchen items (dishes, glasses and cookware are provided) Once you have arrived sit back and take in the view of your very own little pond that is fed by a natural spring and all the wildlife all around you. There is even a small fire pit in the yard for cozying up next to on a chilly night and sharing stories. Snuggle up in a plush queen size bed and enjoy a nice book or relax on the couch and enjoy a hot cup of joe (Keurig and drip available) while watching your favorite TV shows on an LCD TV with. We do have plenty of DVDs to watch. The bathroom hosts a shower tub combo, luxury towels, and toiletries. The rich modern theme of this cottage will provide you with the solitude and relaxation you have been deserving. Cottage property, private little pond and fire pit and propane grill Fire Pit: wood can be purchased along the road side or our son can bring some over from out apple trees for $15 a bundle Minimal, greeting and onsite management for any guest needs per request. Owner available 24/7 The cottage is located in the middle of three vineyards as well as 10 minutes from the historic Gettysburg Battlefields. Our setting for your adventure is on our private 30 acres of a retired apple orchard nestled back in a private clearing. This means that at certain times of the year there will be stink bugs as they are an agricultural pest. They are completely harmless and we do spray for them. Ski Liberty as well as two golf courses are just 10 minutes away! 2 state parks along with the Appalachian trail is 15 minutes away! Car required We do except pets for a $100 flat pet fee. No pets other then a dog. That is for the first pet and then each additional is $100 Guests will have to sign a rental agreement and follow the rules. You may reach out and ask for a sample of the rental agreement prior to booking. Guest will need to do some departure procedures on check out, i.e. strip beds, clean dishes, and take trash out HOT TUB The cottage is pleased to announce the addition of a Hot tub / Spa to the property!! Heat temperature can be set as low as in the 80s to enjoy even in the summer on a hot night after a day of exploring. The spa is set in a private, beautiful gazebo overlooking the natural spring fed pond. Sit back and relax and unwind with the spa lights making the water glow in an array of changing colors as you hear the crickets chirp and look at the stars. The spa is sanitized in between each guest. If the hot tub is found damaged (i.e. brown slime everywhere and cloudy), guest will be responsible to pay an extra fee of $100 to drain, clean and refill. The process takes 5 hours. This can be avoided by showering before entry as asked. Please notify us if you would like the Hot tub package so we can add it on to your reservation and have it clean and ready for you. The fee is sent out as an additional payment and when paid in full you will receive the code at check-in to unlock the hot tub. Hot tub Cost 2 nights $125 flat fee 3-5 nights $150 flat fee 6-8 nights $175 flat fee 9-11 nights $200 flat fee Rental agreement will need to be signed via DocUsign We have a strict no smoking policy which includes Marijuana in the cottage or outside near the rental. Unfortunately we have to implement this rule due to a large number of guests not following the rules.

We stayed here for 3 days while visiting Gettysburg for the first time. The Apple Blossom Cottage was lovely, quiet and peaceful. We loved the night time dips in the hot tub, watching movies and daytime excursions in the area. Gettysburg has so much to do and the Apple Blossom Cottage was the perfect New Year's Eve getaway. Highly recommend!

Where can you go and have coffee with a fawn first thing in the morning! At the apple blossom cottage is where. It was absolutely amazing seeing the little guy graze through the lawn. Coming from a small town that's what I look for is the small town feel. This cottage hit it out of the park. Check in and out is a simple text. The property is just absolutely beautiful the cottage inside was neat and clean and such a homey feel as soon as you walk through the door. And the Owner Elizabeth is absolutely amazing and is a simple message away from any problem concern or question. Thank you Elizabeth and family for creating such an amazing little get away and sharing the silent slice of heaven you all get to enjoy! Can not wait to see the cottage in the fall! If anyone is up in the air about this perfect little get away just do it you will not regret it at all!!

Let me start by saying that we had a GREAT time! It's a beautiful location near Gettysburg that offers all the privacy and comforts of home. We especially loved the horses, donkeys and goats that we were able to feed! The cottage is adorable and spacious, and we woke up to deer in the yard every morning. With that being said, I would recommend that the cleaning staff pay a little more attention to detail when cleaning the facilities and grounds as there were several areas that were not "up to par." Also, while it does mention in the listing what supplies they start you out with, it was a little inconvenient having to run to the store on the first day to purchase additional toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags (we later found some tucked behind a bunch of items under the kitchen sink). Staying at the cottage was well worth the money spent, although it would be nice to have those little amenities provided versus having to purchase additional items ourselves or have things like firewood as an additional cost. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed. Very close to wineries, breweries and downtown Gettysburg. The hot tub was awesome-we really enjoyed it. It is very private area with a nice yard for your dog to play. We forgot matches for the fire-pit so didn’t get to use it but remember to bring some if you plan to use it. Great and easy communication with the owner. Fully recommend this property.

It was very easy to schedule our stay at the Apple Blossom Cottage. We had the best time ever! The owners were very nice and easy to deal with. The cottage was very clean and tidy. It had all the comforts of home. It was loaded with games and movies. The kitchen had everything you need to to make great meals. The bedroom had a cozy queen bed that was very comfortable. The cottage had many windows looking out towards the wooded area where we watched deer come and go. We used to hot tub sever times… it was fantastic! Do not hesitate… book this cottage!

My stay at Apple Blossom Cottage was perfect. The hot tub was an added +! Hosts were quick to reply with answers. It’s quite dark. I was so glad I remembered to take my headlamp for dog walks.

Elizabeth was very responsive to our communication. I’d give it 6 out if 5 stars if I could! The price was appropriate, but the relaxation and privacy was beyond expectation. The Apple Blossom Cottage was the perfect home base for a weekend of exploring Gettysburg. A very cozy cabin with everything you need. It was great to come back to a warm firepit and hot tub each evening. Private and secluded, yet close to nearby attractions, we loved seeing the deer roaming the property.

We had a wonderful second trip to Apple Blossom Cottage and had an even better time in Gettysburg! The cottage was very cozy and even though it rained one day, I didn’t mind the tap of rain on the roof above us. We shall return!

Our time at the Apple Blossom Cottage was wonderful. It was a clean, comfortable place to call home while we explored Gettysburg. Quiet and peaceful, it was a great place to kick back with our two dogs. We loved seeing the horses and the deer that visited the old orchard. It had all the amenities we needed to feel at home and cook meals when we didn't feel like going out.
