Nestled in Leland, this charming house for $500 per night is a great option for your next break. Most impressive is the view of Lake Michigan upon entering this home. The sunsets viewed both from the deck and the comfort of the living roomier spectacular.. Located on a quiet, private drive, Leland Lake Life (#LelandLakeLife) is spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that sleeps 8. The house is located on Good Harbor Bay, a short 2 miles from Leland's Fishtown. The house features a wrap around deck and a second beach deck, both of which are perfect to watch the stunning sunsets over Lake Michigan. The private beach allows direct water access to the shallow, clear waters of the Bay and this secluded location invites you to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.There are 2 kayaks, 2 bikes with helmets, 2 sets of golf clubs (right and left handed) and a gas grill. The house has a garage, natural wood and ceramic floors, a modern kitchen and a washer and dryer. There are beach toys, inflatable rafts, beach chairs and umbrella just to mention a few things that will add to your vacation pleasure. On the inside of the house are board games, puzzles, a stereo, an Apple TV with a large flat screen and wireless internet. This is the vacation home when families and friends will make memories that will last a lifetime.

This is such a special place! The setting is so peaceful and beautiful, and the house is a perfect home base for exploring the area. It was comfortable, clean, and included lovely touches that made us feel at home. Mary Lou was a very helpful host. I am already dreaming of my next stay!

Our two weeks at the house were a delight! It is extremely comfortable, perfectly located and had everything we needed -- from kayaks and children's books to laundry detergent -- and the views of the lake are spectacular. It was so perfect that we have already reserved our stay for next year.

We had such a great time staying here on Lake Michigan for a week!! The property is in an ideal location to be able to jump into the lake any time and watch spectacular sunsets from both decks. We had dinner on the porch every night and were on the kayaks and paddle board every day. Would absolutely recommend this place and we hope to be back! It fit seven adults well.

Perfect spot for adult family members to celebrate a milestone birthday. Plenty of open living space surrounded by windows on two sides. Enjoyed all meals on deck facing the water. Quiet, private street. Easy to get to everything from here: vineyards, dunes, Traverse City, etc.

Wonderful home that backs up directly to Lake Michigan. The home was well equipped, everything worked, and the neighborhood was quiet but very close to Leland. The sights and sounds of the lake from the backyard deck were beautiful.

The pictures do not do this property justice! Such a nice, easy space, with lots of windows and beach access to Lake Michigan. The actual house was also well-stocked with items that I wouldn’t normally expect a vacation home to have (dish soap, toilet paper, etc.), which made our stay so much more comfortable! Great house for kids with even a few toys (trucks were a big hit), books, and beach supplies. We enjoyed our stay and thinking about booking next summer!

We loved being here on Lake Michigan--a prime spot and felt private and away; short walk down stairs to beach; rocks on beach this year and fun to look at; swimmable and lovely--not a lot of people on beach which we loved. House is well appointed and has spaces for everything--to watch tv, be outside yet out of the wind if it is windy, nice deck on which to look out and dine or relax...all great things.

Place completely stocked with everything we needed including condiments (spices and ketchup, little things that made our lives so much easier...very thoughtful touches). Also loved all the toys (kayaks, paddleboard, bikes and a bunch of other things too numerous to mention!).
We were so contented here and would recommend it to anyone...just a lovely house and spot.
Be alert to bring your own drinking water if not used to or wanting to use the well water at the house.
We would love to visit this place again and felt it a privilege to be there.

A great base camp to explore the peninsula. The house had a really nice open dining/living/kitchen area that was perfect for our group of 7 to hang out comfortably while it rained. The kitchen has everything you could need. We used the kayaks, the bay is easy to navigate. Thanks to our host!

The house sits right on Lake Michigan and has beautiful views. It’s down a long private driveway so it’s quiet - only saw neighbors a couple times. A couple suggestions to make the property better. The linens for the beds are quite worn and dated - these could be updated. Also, clearing some of the under brush out back to have better views of the lake. The sunsets are beautiful!! Overall a very nice place.

Great location right on the lake with only a short walk down to the beach. Loved being able to hear the waves at night. Kitchen very well stocked. Spacious rooms. Lots of "extras" - kayaks, tubes, bikes, etc. Everything clean and comfortable for our arrival.

We loved being on Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the beach front campfires, the kayaking, and falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. Loved all the windows in the house which allowed you to enjoy the wonderful fresh air. Great location for running into towns to eat/shop and close to all the great outdoor activities.

The view is unmatched. Great house. Lots of room. Away from the the hustle and bustle and set out far enough to really relax. But also a short drive to many cute small towns with great shops and local places to eat. Nothing commercialized around here. We loved it. The back yard could use a little trimming and if you plan on swimming on the beach at the house bring water shoes. The beach is rocks and not sand so the kids needed shoes so their feet didn’t hurt. We LOVED using the kayaks and paddle boards. Would absolutely stay here again!! Mary Lou responded to ALL messages within the hour or less prior to my stay and during!

The pictures didn’t come close to the beautiful beach and waterfront view.! Bushes and overgrowth detract from the available view you could have from the deck. Needs a little TLC!
We are a family of 6 adults, and 2 small children and had lots of room and good sleeping accommodations. Minutes in any directions for things to do and see.
