Located in Manasota Key, this attractive house for $285 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy your own private home right on the Gulf. There are two buildings on the property. There is also a guest house next door with 2 rental apts. Please see our other VRBO rentals # 895527 and 920813. This 2 bedroom 2.5 bath home has spectacular gulf front views. The unit will be appointed with the finer amenities (dishes, bed linens, towels, etc.) one would expect at a high end hotel or B&B. There is a screened in gulf front patio with spectacular, panoramic, unobstructed, pristine views of the Gulf of Mexico. The unit overlooks the gulf and offers a serene setting with waves crashing onto the rocks just steps from your door. Manasota Key is known for its lush vegetation and white sandy beaches just off the coast of Englewood. Kayaking, jet skiing, snorkeling, parasailing and various other activities are available on this quaint island. Its location is within comfortable driving distance to Sarasota, Tampa, and Fort Myers. Sarasota airport is closest (45 mins.) Fort Meyers airport is an hour and 20 mins. Tampa airport is an hour and 40 mins. Sarasota and Tampa have the best car rental rates. NO NEED TO LUG MAJOR ITEMS TO THIS UNIT. Beach umbrellas and chairs are free to take to the public beaches. We have plenty of beach towels and coolers as well and pretty much anything you'll need to make a day at the beach comfortable. Just ASK before you come to see if we have it! Smoking outside only. Francine was wonderful to communicate with, the home was beautiful, the location magical. We will be back someday for sure! The beach is literally your backyard. It was never crowded. We absolutely loved our stay. We did leave a day early to avoid hurricane Idalia, which broke our hearts, praying there wasn't damage to the property or people there.

What a great house! Very comfy and loved the sunroom. The outside area has lots of seating and a small gas grill which we used once. Francine is great! Highly recommend.

House has great access to the beach. Host was good and the location to everything was close by. I recommend this location and place. Enjoying a full day of shart tooth hunting and have the house close by worked out great.

Fran was fantastic! We stayed for 9 days and it was just like being at home! The property had everything we needed for a perfect vacation! Even got a little extra by seeing sea turtles! I wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back! So thankful for the best vacation spot!!!

This was our second time to this property. We rented the house this time as we brought the kids. It was amazing once again. Breathtaking views, fully stocked house, lots of room, no complaints. Francine was a great host checking in to make sure we were enjoying our trip. We will count the days until we are back!!

Fred gave us a warm welcome and Marcy helped us when we locked ourselfes up (tip: do not lock doors, not necessarry). If you want to break away from the crowded beaches this is the place to stay! Beach, sea, nice place and all kind of gears to make your stay at the beach comfortable!

Francine and Fred were so welcoming. They personally came to meet us and made sure we were comfortable. The cottage was super clean. Had all the essentials and the some. The beach is literally out the back door. Sea turtles nesting all around, however it did not impact our beach time. Shark tooth hunting was fun for the grandchildren. Very quiet and peaceful. Would absolutely stay again and again.

This is our second trip back to this house and we brought our friends this time. We absolutely love this house and the owners. They are so kind and thoughtful. We had such a great time on the quiet private beach and found so many great shells and sharks teeth. Can't wait to come back!

Our family had a wonderful week at this location. By far the fewest steps we’ve ever walked to get to the beach. The view was spectacular and the sunsets amazing. We hope to return if they ever have availability 😉. Fran was delightful to work with.

My wife and I have used VRBO multiple times. Every place has been great, but this stands out above the others. We enjoy variety in our vacations, and do not go to the same place twice. However, this is a place that we hope to return to. The house is perfectly located on a huge beautiful uncrowded beach. Fred and Francine are the perfect hosts. We arrived to find a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. They love dogs and our 70 lb. lab mix, Bonnie, had a great time as well. They supply everything: beach towels, loungers, boogie board, shark teeth scoops, barbecue grills, washer and dryer, etc. If you are interested in finding Shark teeth, we recommend a short 6 minute drive to Stump Pass Beach State Park. We found hundreds of tiny, fossilized, 10 million year old teeth. Thanks again for a great stay. We are already looking at availability for a future stay.

Our boys wanted to hunt for shark teeth so we booked a short stay at this property. The house was perfect and the location was beyond perfect. The water is a beautiful green and we were just steps away in this home. We could easily walk to Englewood Beach along the Gulf and enjoyed our private dolphin show each morning over coffee. We would certainly go back!!

This place is even better than the pictures on the listing. The beach is right at your back door. You eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner looking at the gulf of mexico and hearing the sounds of the waves. You can walk our the back door and you are right on the beach. Very private. Very few people on the beach area. It is your own private paradise. I will definately be staying again.

The only reason I hesitate to write a honest great review on this is I would like to keep this hidden gem a secret. You are literally steps away to the beautiful beach right out your door. The screened in lanai was wonderful to enjoy breakfast and dinner. The house has everything you will need for your beach stay, from kitchen utensils, beach chairs, towels, etc Francine is a wonderful host. She welcomed us with a warm smile and a quick run thru of the property. We will be back!

The owners are very gracious hosts and provided us with some suggestions for local restaurants. The beach is literally right outside the back door! While the public beaches appeared to be crowded, there were only a few other families near us. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing spot to vacation, this is perfect!

Francine and her husband made our stay amazing they were very welcoming and responsive with any questions that we had. The house is beautiful, the most amazing sunsets. There are many restaurants less than a mile away as well as the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

We rented this beautiful house along with the 2 Bedroom 1 bath upper level of the carriage house on the property. My family and I had such a great time. There were 8 of us total. Plenty of space and all the amenities that you would need. Unbelievable view from almost every room. We grilled every night. There are 2 beaches close by and many great restaurants. Francine and Fred were so welcoming and they love dogs. We were so glad to be able to take our 2 little ones with us. We would definitely go back!
