About this condo rental
Nestled in Avalon, this attractive condo for $425 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This is a one level (no stairs) condo located in Avalon at Bahia Vista Condo Complex. Our condo has 2 bedrooms each with king beds and 2 bathrooms (one with tub and shower and one with shower only). For the cool winter stays, we have a wood burning fireplace. Our condo is located on the top third floor of complex and has easy elevator access. Sleeps 6 comfortably. We completely remodeled our condo and it has vaulted ceiling and an airy open concept. Enjoy Beautiful views of trees and hillsides and partial ocean views off balcony. Additional amenities include Free WIFI, a large Smart TV in the living room and another Smart TV in the Master bedroom. Bahia Vista is one of the few complexes in Avalon that has a private "Bahia Guest" pool and jacuzzi with a garden setting. The pool was completely redone and will be open Summer 2024. The location of the condo is on the third floor at the South end of the complex where there is little "pool noise" and little to no foot traffic. A quiet oasis that is within walking distance to all the action Avalon has to offer (dining, golfing, boating, snorkeling sight-seeing Tours and more. My friends and I had a great time on a brief weekend getaway! The property manager was very friendly and responsive, the place was spacious, comfortable and clean, the floors have been updated since the photos in the listing, it looks even nicer now!

Clean and comfortable space worked well for having family over and share a few days. Nice view and easy to walk to the interior or go to the beach and Front street.

We wanted a quick overnight in Catalina with family to celebrate my mother and father in laws birthdays. The condo was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner together after a fun day riding around Catalina in golf carts and sitting on the beach. The location is perfect for walking to and from the beach and restaurants. Communication with the owners was great. And check in was easy. We would come back for sure. Thanks for having us!

Everything was clean, easy, the place has been remodeled with hardwoods, and the staff were exceptional with regards to communication. The location was an easy walk from the pier for all of us with luggage. My 24 year old daughter said, "I love this little place, let's come back." So we will!

We had a fabulous time in Avalon! Our host was extremely kind! Even worked with us for a late checkout so we didn't have to carry luggage around the island.

This place is older and even with a lot of pretty it is not good for handicapped or children. The decor is too fragile for almost any children, It should only be rented to adults .. no kids or seniors with mobility problems. We had to take all the shells and fancy decor (nice!) and place it out of the way of a toddler so it would not be damaged. There is no wheelchair access, the steps are too much. A entrance to the garage where the elevator is accessible would help any physically handicapped individual

Everything was better than expected! I "last minute booked" a second VRBO when I learned that additional family planned to attend my Mothers Memorial on May 6th. Even though it was Cinco de Mayo weekend we were lucky to get this great home. 4 generations of family met in Avalon to celebrate My Mothers life, over 40 people rented multiple hotel rooms and homes. I sincerely believe that this was the best rental in terms of location and price. Thank You so much for You hospitality.

This was a great stay in a nice and remodeled condo. The wood floors look brand new and the house was very clean. The property manager was very helpful and super responsive. Very easy stay and would definitely stay here again.

The property worked well for our group of 6. Close to shopping and downtown with nice open concept living and dining area. Property manager picked up our luggage at the ferry dock which was very helpful! Will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Avalon very much. The place was quite big, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was close enough to everything in town. Mostly, it was nice to know that the host took whatever concerns we had (heater seemed to be malfunctioning at the time) seriously and dealt with them. The way this rental is run is extremely professional and leaves nothing to chance.

The advertisement for this place was somewhat incorrect.
The pool and jacuzzi were empty and neededrepair.
The excuse was covid. Poor excuse after a 2 year stretch!
There is a picture of the balcony with a bbq on it. No bbq in site.
The carpet had rugs on top of them that were tripping hazards. Their idea of a fix was to place duct tape on the corners.
It was extremely hot while we were there and the only way to cool off was the very loud floor fans. Air conditioning would have been much appreciated or a working swimming pool!
This place in my opinion was overpriced for what you got.
We are frequent travelers and we understand that somethings just can't be fixed, but this was not one of those places. Very disappointing.

This was a perfect 2 bedroom condo! Very spacious and the light blue walls make you feel so relaxed. Definitely would go back and recommend to friends and family!!

This apartment was really pretty, clean, and well kept. The location is fantastic and the hosts are very communicative and accommodating. This is also in a great location, but there were some issues with the apartment. The faucet in the main bedroom did not consistently work, and while I understand that the availability of plumbers is short on the island, it was disappointing that nothing could be done about this.
For some reason the master bedroom was also extremely warm, much warmer than all other areas in the apartment, to the extent that the bed even felt like it had a heated blanket. This ended up being very uncomfortable. The blinds in the living room were also not completely working, and we had to fiddle with them for a long time to get them to work. It's a nice place but just needs a little attention and a few repairs.

This was the vacation my family and I needed. The location was great. We walked down to the shore every day. The kids loved having the red wagon for their swimming suits, toys, and warm blankets. The
Vons market Was in walking distance, my son and his family stayed in a Vrbo house four streets from the park. We loved the time we spend there.
Our place had everything you would need to cook and the bedrooms were comfortable and clean.

This place was amazing and had all of the necessities you need. Will definitely consider coming back and booking this place. My group and I enjoyed it so much and we were all surprised to see how big it was.
