Nestled in Port Hueneme, this charming house for $1,090 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Contemporary, and luxurious beach home on Silverstrand beach. This beautiful ocean front home has amazing floor to ceiling glass doors, with spectacular ocean, and mountain views . The beautiful interior is open, and spacious with Mahogany floors, and handmade Persian rugs. All the countertops are natural stone, and ceilings, and walls feature a Venetian plaster detail. The kitchen is equipped with Subzero and Wolf appliances, and two large flat screen T.V.s. Three bedrooms with 3 king size beds and three and a half bathrooms, and a hot outdoor shower. Walk to the beach over dry sand beach.Very quiet, and private home. Visit nearby beautiful nearby towns, such as Malibu, Santa Barbara, and Ojai. World class surfing out front. 4 car driveway parking. *Photo ID will be required at time of check in* No American Express please....separate self contained studio on 1 st floor of property occupied by friend

The view from the house was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset every evening from the living room that had floor to ceiling windows and glass doors out to the patio. We will rent it again if we ever decide to visit the same beach in the future.

The owner, Dave, is very communicative and a joy to work with. And the property is simply stunning. Two walls of GLASS overlooking the sand and ocean. We took walks in the evenings. The kids boogy boarded in the surf. It was a 10 minute drive to WHOLE FOODS OR COSTCO and the kitchen has all the great amenities to cook. Just a great beach getaway. THANKS!

This stay as well as the property have exceeded our expectations. As we found out this beautiful house was built by the owner for himself, and you can definitely see the personal touch in both the architectural and the interior design. Furniture, rugs, and appliances are hand selected and of superior quality. Everything is designed for the coziness and convenience of use. The kitchen is set up well, you shouldn't need to bring anything, unless you are an avid chef and require your own set of tools/pans. Linens and towels are clean and crisp, and the onsite laundry room will help you keep it this way. Bathroom amenities and cleaning supplies are well-chosen and stocked. Every corner of the property is set up for the most use and comfort. It definitely feels like a lived-in house, not a rental or a hotel. The host has thought of even the coconut oil at the entrance to remove the occasional tar you get on your feet at the beach. The beach is a separate beauty. A long strand, well taken care of by the city and the residents is inviting and clean. Great for walking, playing, chilling, never overcrowded, always awesome. There are a couple of local breakfast places, a bar, and a bodega walking distance from the property. Major stores, like Ralphs, Trader Joe's, Costco, Wholefoods, Walmart, and others are about a 15-minute drive away. Plenty of little streets and the length of the beach for extended walks. DEFINITELY recommend this property and look forward to renting it again.

We travelled to Oxnard to attend a wedding and decided on a beach vacation too. The weather was cool and cloudy, but beach walks, wildlife viewing and hanging around the beautiful house were all great. We had an easy side trip up to Santa Barbara; a lovely time all around!

I stayed at David's wonderful house with my husband, daughter, son-in-law and 7 year old twins. The location is right on the beach and we watched our girls playing in the sand while we had our coffee inside. The house has all the conveniences one could hope for and communication with David was easy. The views from the house are incredible as the main rooms have floor to ceiling windows that provide unobstructed views of a large, soft sand beach. Can't wait to go back!

From the check in process to following up with us after we left, the entire stay was awesome. The house was clean, well equipped and David was very responsive and helpful. For anyone looking for a relaxing place on the beach, book here without reservation. Great property!

Wow! What a gorgeous place to stay. This home is located right on the sand and is full of every modern convenience. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and stylish. The living spaces are comfortable and there are various places to sit and relax throughout the property. This rental is the top 2 floors and doesn't include the bottom floor. At first I thought this might hinder our enjoyment of the beach, but it didn't at all! It's an easy little walk around the house to the sand. There's a nice shower to wash off the sand on your way back to the street-side courtyard and the door to the house.Dave was super easy to work with and very responsive to our requests. My family and I loved our stay! Thanks Dave!

This property is a beautifully realized 3-bedroom contemporary home on Silver Strand Beach. The beach itself is clean and beautiful, and the house you will wish you owned. Little expense seems to have been spared, the home is comfortable, good for entertaining large families, and the views of the ocean and Channel Islands are perfect. The best feature of the home - the walls of glass in the living room and master bedroom which look out on the beach and slide open - allow you to thoroughly enjoy and experience the beach without ever having to leave the house. Dave the owner has taken great care with the property - designing and maintaining - and the home is best suited to those who are comfortable living in someone else's very nice house. The area seems great - the neighborhood is safe and friendly, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping a short drive away. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing stay. We will definitely be re-booking this house - until we can build our own!
