This newly constructed Kiawah Island vacation rental, located in Vanderhorst Plantation, boasts 4 bedrooms, gorgeous views of tidal marsh and Cinder Creek, and a private pool. The home is located behind the second gate of Kiawah and is a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. This home has the finest finishes throughout and was professionally decorated and furnished by a top NYC designer. Walk in through the front door and immediately notice the hardwood floors, reclaimed wood ceiling beams, shiplap walls, built-in custom cabinetry, TV, large windows, and wet bar with copper sink, built-in wine cooler, and icemaker in the living area. An open floorplan allows easy flow to the dining area which has a table and chairs that seats 10. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and features subway tile and a large center island with barstool seating for 4. The first-floor master suite features a king-sized bed, TV, and a beautiful spacious private bathroom with a walk-in shower and two sinks. Upstairs, you will find 3 additional bedrooms, all with updated private bathrooms. The second and third bedroom both feature king-sized beds and the fourth bedroom features 2 full over full bunk beds. There is also second living area with a queen sleeper sofa, full bathroom, TV, and wet bar with mini fridge. Outside, the screened porch, covered porch, back deck, fenced in back yard, and private pool invites you to sit back and unwind. Whether you are watching TV on the screened porch, dining al fresco at the table, cooking with the gas grill on the back deck or swimming in the 12’x22’ pool, you will enjoy the beautiful creek and marsh views. The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guests can enjoy a friendly game of ping-pong in the garage area. During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours! This property's pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $100/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email. RBL19-000089 In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 4, the maximum allowed occupancy is 10, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 6.

Just as pictured. House was pristine. Decor was gorgeous. The dining table on the deck was great for sunset dinners. Sadly the weather did not cooperate to get much use out of the pool, but the screened in porch with built in heater was lovely. Nicely appointed. Will look to book this property for future trips to Kiawah. Akers Ellis always provides excellent service.

Reviewer Comments: The house was in a fantastic location, was a great size, beautifully furnished etc., but needs to have a rental “kit” of dinnerware, glasses, coffee mugs Etc., supplied. A kitchen provisions tray would also be a good thing (basics such as salt, pepper, sugar, etc.,) It could also benefit from a set of beach towels. The house can fit 10 people so there should be at least 10 of everything. Would definitely rent this house again.

Missed having actual glassware in the kitchen however, it is understandable that the owner would not want guests to be tempted to use glass around the pool. Cleaning crew was still there on our arrival at 420pm. Front door was wide open and couldn't find anyone to talk to. Bags of garbage and linen blocked the front path. All understandable with Covid but would have appreciated a call/email to inform us that the property was not ready. The crew didn't speak to us and must have felt rushed because we had to chase them after they left to provide toilet paper and the house didn't feel appropriately prepared as in years past with Akers Ellis.

The house is beautiful, clean, spacious. We loved the deck, especially the patio heaters which allowed us to be outside even when temperatures dropped or when the rains came. The pool was a big hit with everyone and the view was wonderful. Saw several deer roaming through the marsh right beneath the house. Very quiet neighborhood. Wish Kiawah had more beach access for those with physical challenges.

In addition, the kitchen/great room area was perfect for our group. Unfortunately, the pool heater was inoperable, however we were refunded right away for that expense. Great house, the bedding/linens could use an upgrade in comparison to the type of home this is.

Would 100% do it again, and this house was perfect. Great location, easy to bike to the beach. Pool was great for after the beach and evening. Decor in the house is nice and perfect for a family.
