The charming villa has undergone a complete renovation and is just steps from the beach and walking distance to Night Heron Park. When you enter the main living space, you are greeted with a cathedral ceiling with many windows offering an abundance of natural light and ocean views. The open kitchen has been updated with stainless appliances, white cabinets, and granite countertops. Enjoy your meals in the dining area, featuring a large window creating a bright airy space, or eat at the kitchen island, which has 3 bar stools. The living room features a comfortable sofa and multiple chairs offering ocean views while watching a 54” flat-screen TV. It also features a queen Murphy bed in the cabinet under the TV for extra company. Sliding doors in the living room lead you to a shaded afternoon deck. Perfect for getting out of the hot afternoon sun while relaxing and enjoying the ocean view. The oceanview master bedroom offers a king bed, flat-screen TV, and ensuite bathroom for added privacy with a walk-in shower and dual vanities. The second oceanview room also offers a king bed, flat screen TV, and a private entry via a modern barn door to the full hall bathroom. Just down the hall, you’ll find the third bedroom featuring two twin beds and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The villa is equipped with washer, dryer, cable TV, and high-speed wireless internet. Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours! During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful villa. You can see the ocean from two bedrooms and the main room. Sitting on the deck and watching the waves is so peaceful. Well stocked with supplies. Only needed a little extra cleaning - blinds and primary shower.

Initially when we walked in, we were disappointed because of the limited ocean view. However, didn't take long and we adapted and grateful for the view we had. Very clean unit, well supplied and as always thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island. Our favorite location!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The renovations include pretty much everything you can see. The kitchen and baths are very nice and the entire unit was well cleaned. Check in/out was all done remotely and using a tablet provided once inside. Windswept is a great location and this building has an elevator which is important if moving heavy luggage. Good views of the ocean from this unit and the balcony. We also saw deer, rabbits, and other wildlife while sitting outside. Highly recommend!

My only concern is the cleaning staff needs to spend a little more time cleaning the unit. As I told a representative of Akers Ellis, the freezer had spilled food and mildew in it which we cleaned ourselves. There was sand all over the master bed spread and the rug in the master bath had dirt and pine straw on it when we arrived. Other than these few things the unit and customer service was great and I would definitely stay here again.

The only reason I did not give this home 5 stars across the board for a few reasons. 1. With 8 people in the home we did a lot of cooking. We thought the utensils and the basic necessities of the kitchen (knives and cooking pans specifically) were either lacking or should have been replaced with better quality. 2. Some of the living room seating should be replaced as they are very uncomfortable for seating. 3. The outdoor furniture was rusty and old.

This has to be one of the best condos in the windswept villas. A great private unit, with great views. Well located on the island with equal easy access to both the east and west sides of the island. Would absolutely choose to stay in this exact unit again.
