During a challenging holiday season, this little Casita was a refuge. They were wonderful hosts to me and my senior dog as we moved between living situations. The location is perfect, the house is gorgeous and clean, and the people were kind and communicative.

The casita is conveniently located and the layout is nice. Unfortunately, this living quarters were extremely dirty, poorly maintained and unsanitary. Several of many examples are: 1.) The air filter to the HVAC is in dire need of changing as evidenced by the replete dust and grease surrounding the filter container and indicator light. 2.) The supposedly convenient washer/dryer required extensive cleaning of both machines and the emptying of dryer filter, as well as the contents within the washer. 3.) Deficient lighting was worsened due to not replacing dead light bulbs. 4.) Casita was replete with animal hair. 5.) Bed linens felt unclean; particularly when encountering solid content stuck to blanket/sheets. 6.) We love animals; but did not appreciate the dog's poop (adjacent to casita) that was NOT picked up and disposed of over time. 7.) Shower stall had an unpleasant odor. 8.) Coffee maker in dire need of cleaning/replacement. 9.) Welcome basket snacks were expired. 10.) Unsafe step between bedroom and bathroom is a tripping hazard and should be properly identified prevent falls/accidents - particularly under the poor lighting conditions within the bathroom. Unfortunately, there are more deficiencies we observed/ experienced.

The casita was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Having the washer/dryer was a definite bonus. The outside area was nice to have when we had guests visit and the neighborhood was great for walking our dog. Would stay here again!

Sue was a great host. We really enjoyed our stay in Sue Casita. Sue greeted us, showed us around and even had a nice guest basket with goods for us to enjoy during our stay. It is very quite neighborhood, I heard the bird chirping every morning very peaceful. Have nice inside and out. Love the outdoor space wish we had more time to spend. We would love to come again.

First off, the owners are amazing. Kind, accommodating and quick to answer questions. They have a great dog that became and instant playmate for our dog. The location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and the canal trail. Easy access to all that Phoenix has to offer. The casita is exactly as advertised and well stocked with anything you would need, including it’s own BBQ grill and outdoor seating. We look forward to coming back!
