From the moment you walk in their is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the smiles and attentiveness of the staff at check-in really make you feel valued as a customer. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bar and restaurant area are cosy and comfortable with a good vibe and the food was also very good. It's definitely somewhere I'll be staying again in the future.

Lovely room, clean and comfortable bed. All we needed for a stopover. Staff helpful. Busy restaurant serving lovely food. Recommend booking for dinner before arriving. Good breakfast.
Water bottles in room were empty! Shower head could have done with a good scrub/replace.

We stayed for 4 nights in September while visiting County Durham. Very comfortable kingsize room, excellent meals, great staff. All in all, very good value for money. Just a short drive to the Belmont park & ride, so very convenient for visiting the city of Durham.

Just a 10 minute drive away from North East Karting Circuit at Warden Law, it was perfect for us supporting our family racing there. We brought them back to the Three Horseshoes for a lovely evening meal which we thought was good value from a varied menu. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was really accommodating despite being a busy pub and restaurant - even bringing Sunday breakfast forward just for us so we could get back to the circuit for the first event of the day. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a good shower, tea & coffee facilities, USB ports, good size HD TV. We found the bed super comfy. We loved the way the bar at the front of the building has retained all its original atmosphere then there is the new and stylish restaurant behind with its two different zones. We would definitely book to stay here again when visiting the north east, whether for karting or just a trip to Durham or the nature reserves near by.

Breakfast was delicious, we enjoyed three evening meals and they too were delicious. Plenty of choice and staff and chef catered excellently for my food intolerances.
Can’t commend staff enough for their professional and friendly approach including bar staff, waiters, waitresses and cleaners, all really pleasant and attentive.

Plenty of parking, easy to check in. Rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. Comfortable bed. Good TV size and position. Bathroom was good and good water pressure. Highlight was breakfast which was very tasty, and catered to gluten free.

The 3H was perfect from start to finish; a friendly welcome and service throughout the stay, a lovely pub with a great atmosphere, and an outstanding b&b.
The room was superbly fitted and furnished, there was an excellent shower and a very comfortable bed. The food was exceptional, both dinner and the breakfast. From pub to restaurant (both times), to the host's info about the room, everything was simply top notch.
We would not recommend the 3H to anyone, but lve already booked for January next year.

We needed to have an earlier breakfast than the normal time indicated. Our request was easily accommodated and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The food was very good.

Great choice for Breakfast, breakfast times were excellent, service very efficient. Evening meals had great choice as well, very quick service, staff very approachable.

Friendly staff who made my stay absolutely fantastic. The food was top quality and the breakfast staff couldn't do enough. The room was tastefully decorated, bedding spotless and bathroom the same.

Stayed at property for 2 nights while visiting Durham. Room was excellent and very clean. Food was great and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this place for a place to stay if visiting Durham or any nearby area.
