nice location, nice breakfast

run down, dirty, and when they charged us, they increased the price. not worth it for the cost.

We arrived after a night bus at 8 am, and the owner let us check-in that early and offered us the breakfast, which was such a good surprise. The room was big and clean, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. The buffet breakfast is good and offer many varieties of sweet food but there are scrambled eggs if you prefer savory food. The hostal is in front of the lake, and maybe 10 to 15 min walk from the bus terminal, and 5 more minutes to the center. You can have dinner in the restaurant at night, but we didn't try it.

Our stay was during the "cherry festival", which is apparently a big event in Los Antiguos in the beginning of January. Very loud music was played in a place near all night until 6am, so we couldn't sleep. It was absolutely not the hotel faut though, and I am pretty sure the rest of the time it is a very calm hotel, but I would highly recommend to avoid the cherry festival in January!

bed was comfortable but terrible pillow like a sack of boulders.

it was hot with no air conditioning. the bar and restaurant was closed Monday to Friday. we weren’t told that on booking. there was a fast food restaurant next door and one other restaurant that the reception recommended- but it was closed. the coach drivers woke up the whole hotel every morning at 6am knocking on doors to wake their passengers up.

Check in and out also possible in the middle of the night. Very friendly stuff Nice breakfast

A little.expensive for the town. Food in the restaurant was not so nice.

It's nicely located at the lake, quite clean and the bed is comfortable.

The hotel is very poorly soundproofed. It doesn't seem to have walls of plasterboard but of cardboard. You hear every neighbour's word, learn about his washing and toilet habits. Also the breakfast is very poor. Sweets only and some toast and butter. If you can book without breakfast and rather go to one of the panaderias.

Friendly staff. Lovely location. A short taxi ride into town. Room was huge; missed breakfast as we were in an early bus the next morning. Walk around the lake foreshore was nice.
