Thiro Santorini is a luxurious peaceful haven away from the maddening crowd whilst still being only a few minutes walk to the centre of things. The staff were so lovely, and all my interactions were delightful, they were so helpful, welcoming, and kind, to my little dog and myself. The pictures don't quite do it justice, the courtyard is really spacious and just what I needed in the morning to relax in the warm sun, and the hot tub was lovely in the evenings to soak. The interior is luxurious, so comfortable, and very clean. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and it was so quiet, with shutters on the windows to block light; I slept really well here. It was great to have so much space, and to have a kitchen with a full size fridge to do a little cooking. Internet speed was good, I think I checked it and it was 45 Mbps which is better than I have at home for work. The staff were really helpful with any questions I had, and helped me to book transfers to and from the ferry port, and insisted on carrying my bag. It was really difficult to leave, I felt so comfortable here it was hard to pack and walk out the door, thoroughly recommend!
It would be good to have just a few additional small things in the kitchen to make it more functional (e.g. a cutting knife and a tea towel and smaller pot). The TV is in the bedroom, so if you want to sit in the living room to watch it's only possible if you brought a laptop, but this is a personal thing, some people prefer the bedroom for this. The lights in the hot tub were acting up a bit and didn't come on at night for most of my stay - but this is such a small thing and not important, but the lights are really pretty at night, and probably it's an easy fix. The lighting in the shower room is a bit dim, it would be good to see if it's possible to put a brighter bulb in, or add another light.

Exceptional stay — one of the best properties we have ever visited
We have been travelling for many years and have stayed in many properties around the world, but Thiro Santorini was truly extraordinary. It exceeded our expectations and checked every box by far.
The house has a very stylish and charming design, everything was spotless clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. One of the coolest parts was having our own private open-air Jacuzzi, which made the stay feel even more special.
The terrace was also wonderful — at night you can admire the beautiful starry sky, and during the day you can relax and sunbathe in complete peace.
The location is also excellent: right in the centre, close to cafés, restaurants, shops, and everything a tourist could wish for. It was very easy and convenient to enjoy Santorini from there.
Above all, the owners are two extraordinary people: extremely polite, warm, kind, and with truly big hearts. Their hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
We would happily come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santorini.

The property was amazing, modern, spacious, comfortable. We loved the decor and layout, the hot tub was always hot (not always the case with other properties) and we used it a lot, it was so relaxing. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Fira, close to everything including the main bus station, and yet super quiet and peaceful. Our host Fanis was very nice and helpful and we had no issues whatsoever, amenities and cleaning were great. And we got to see a few neighbourhood cats around too which is always a plus for us! Would come back again.
