Pointe Venus Lodge

Fabulous location with private beach access next to a popular beach. Close to PPT (20 min drive), and refreshing to be out of the city without having to park/dive to beach. It was quiet, relaxing and even cuter then the photos. Private/safe parking. Excellent hosts made us feel very welcomed.

Les propriétaires sont charmants L’emplacement est incroyable au bord de la jolie plage de sable noir. Lit très confortable, salle de bain parfaite. La cuisine est un peu sommaire si l’on souhaite cuisiner mais nous avons préféré manger à l’extérieur, donc 😁

Great location by the beach with views of Moorea although only from the beach- not the room- Though you really need a car. It's a long walk to the local shops. Food trucks next door at busy beach times.

It’s not really made clear that this is a room sandwiched between the hosts very nice house and his garage. There is no patio- there is green lawn space, alongside the house. Room was fine but dark. There is no washing machine although it is listed. The host has one in the garage and he made it obvious he didn’t want me to use it – he never emptied it, even though I asked. It’s also not made clear on the listing that only cash is acceptable. When I booked it said credit cards were accepted though that seems now to have been removed. It can be very noisy when the beach is busy. Door was opened by inserting a piece of wire into the tumbler. Not very security conscious. Owner said no-one ever asks for keys. I’m astonished. I’m a female on my own. It didn’t help that I lost it – got charged 45 USD as he said he didn’t have another one! Bikes were offered but only for males – I can’t ride a man’s bike- I have a bad back and can’t get my leg over..!
