We lived our way at Beach Hut! Such a chill vibe, so relaxing and nice. We stayed in a room with AC and it helped to beat the extreme Arugam Bay heat. Karthi, the manager was so sweet and helpful, always welcoming us with a smile and ready to help with transportation and anything we needed. The food was great and on the cheap side in comparison to Arugam restaurants, which was also a huge plus. If we ever come back to Arugam Bay we would stay at Beach Hut!

RIGHT on the Beach! Huge Window fronts to open with max. 20m to the waves (Beach huts). Nerver had a accommodation with sleeping that close to the waves. Wonderful!!! Very simple and basic , but clean; no AC but no need for it, as there a 2 window fronts to open fully and a fan. Even slept with a blanked in the morning (July).
Staff very friendly and helpful.

The location was very good: 1 min walking from the beach, close to the center by walk and Tuktuk but not in the messy noisy area.
This structure has potential but needs a big renovation and in particular more cleaning. The curtains where old and with cuts. The toilet was very old, stinky, a bit dirty, with ants and without even a hand wash gel. WiFi wasn’t always working
