I had a wonderful time at Lagoon Hostel. Jeffrey and his family are incredibly welcoming hosts. The location is great: not far from the city center and within walking distance, while still being away from all the hustle and bustle.
The restaurant they run serves really good food at very reasonable prices for Arugam Bay.
I warmly recommend this place!

Probablement l’un des meilleurs hostels dans lesquels j’ai séjourné au Sri Lanka. La famille qui gère l’établissement est absolument adorable : extrêmement gentille, accueillante et toujours prête à aider. Je me suis senti chez moi dès mon arrivée.
Le restaurant de l’hostel est également excellent, avec beaucoup de plats sri-lankais à découvrir et des prix vraiment très abordables. Le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement imbattable.
Si vous cherchez un endroit chaleureux, confortable, convivial et avec une vraie ambiance familiale à Arugam Bay, vous pouvez venir les yeux fermés. Je recommande à 100 % !

בעל הגסט ג׳פרי הוא בן אדם מדהים והמארח הכי טוב שפגשתי.
המקום מאוד מזמין ומשפחתי, מרגיש שבעל הגסט באמת מארח, מביא תה ועוגיות לפעמים סתם וממש נותן הרגשה של בית. הילדים שלו מתוקים ומקסימים.
המיקום מצוין, לא בתוך כל הבלאגן ולא בחוץ מידי והדורמס נקיים ונעימים, עם מזגן.
ממליצה בחום על מקום האירוח הזה, בהחלט אשוב!
