This property was absolute perfection and it starts with the people there. Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the bellmen to the staff at restaurants and breakfast. Not to mention the the location is amazing, right in the heart of everything but where you can easily get dropped off by car at the door and grab a bus right outside or walk directly into the heart of old town. The room was great as well, very haitoric, large, and with comfortable bedding. Of my month in Europe this might be my favorite hotel.

I would stay at this hotel over any other in Salzburg. It is part of the history of the city with an unbeatable old city location.
Our view included a cobblestone street, Cathedral and the castle.
The breakfast was excellent, also with beautiful views of the river.
My only complaint was the man checking us in was rude. He asked for our passports and when we gave them he tossed them back and said “open to photo!”
Not a big deal. Everyone else was friendly.

Clean rooms, a view over the river. Close to Alstadt and city area. Quiet, and good comfort, recommended!
