I stayed here for the night during a longer road trip. I was given a room on the back side of the rear building (closest to the highway). While the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable, outside noise was fairly easily heard in the room. I usually leave the TV on at a somewhat low level, and I could hear the road noise and trucks driving by on the highway all night. If I was accustomed to silence at night, this would have been quite disruptive to sleep. Fortunately, I can sleep through a lot, so it didn't bother me that much. We also had our small dog with us. I love that this hotel is actually pet friendly, i.e. no extra charge. The noise of people walking by kept startling our dog. For someone with a "barky" dog, this would probably be a problem. Again, fortunately, my dog is not so reactive. She barked once or twice or growled a little bit, but that's all.

Our first room had a TV that was disconnected to cable, and it was unusable. That was inconvenient but ok. It also had an air conditioning/heating unit with the panel completely removed and on the floor. It was unusable and we need a cold room to sleep in, so then we asked to be relocated. They accommodated quickly and easily. The sheets and towels seemed clean enough, but the cloth shower curtain had some... Stains. It was also noisy, we could hear footsteps outside all night. It was an okay place for just laying your head but I probably wouldn't stay again.

For the price, this is a good place to stay. It’s a little bit ran down, but still felt clean and beds were comfy. Decent furniture in rooms and clean beds. I’m overall satisfied with our stay.

Stayed for over a week during CMA Fest, and found it a pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and maintained, and the front desk was helpful. We stayed with our cat and had no issues there.

They were so polite @ check in. I travel with my service dog & on Oxygen. I was able to park right in front of my room & walk across the parking lot to the dog area for my dog. I had only intended on staying here for 2 days, but due too health issues it ended up being a 5 day stay. I chose to stay here due to keeping the same room & nobody bothered me & I felt safe. It was obvious that they do have ppl that live here. They were very friendly & nice when I was outside. Unlike some hotels where they look like homeless ppl living there & hanging out all over the place watching every move you make. Not a doubt in my mind would I not stay here again. Everyone deserves a high 5 for the work they do @ this Red Roof Inn!

It's exactly what you expected out of a 2star hotel. No reason whatsoever that it should be more than $100 for a room. If you're there for a night or two, you're better off spending the extra $20 and staying literally at any other hotel.

The location was convenient to get to downtown Nashville, the price was very reasonable. I liked that there were numerous choices for places to eat, especially the cracker Barrel right next door!

The door frame was broken. It was as if someone had tried to break the door in a few times. The top lock was coming out of the wall and didn’t work.
The tub was dirty. There was actual dirt in the tub and on the floor. One towel had hair on it and another one had some black gunk on it. It was gross.
It was nerve-racking staying there.

I like that it is close to the highway and right next to Cracker Barrel, so we could walk to dinner. I didn't like how the bathroom was dirty - a lot of dirt in the corners and in the bathtub. The toilet wasn't cleaned very well. Also, they make an effort to prevent smoking with all the signs, but everytime we went in or out of our room, some one was smoking right outside our room.

The room was filthy. Dead bugs and crumbs on floor. Food in drawers. Bathroom had hair and dried urine on toilet. Tv did not work entire visit. Grime on counters and tv. Worst room I had ever stayed in.

The Red Roof Inn Plus in Goodlettsville was in a great location 15 minutes from Nashville, 8 minutes to my church in Hendersonville. Many food options all around. Easy access to gas and the highway. The customer service from the staff at front desk was superb they were courteous and helpful. The initial reason I chose this hotel was because pets are free, I will return with or without my pet. Thank you

I booked this place due to the price and positive reviews and that was a mistake. It was just me and I only needed somewhere to sleep for the night; however, it was quite disappointing. The bathroom felt yucky and looked like it had barely been cleaned. There was noticeable (long) hairs located throughout the shower and the toilet also had visable signs of recent use that had not been addressed. The tv remote could only turn volume up or mute. I was unable to locate a tv guide or Wi-Fi code. It was also loud throughout the night as other guests would be in/out into really late hours - car alarms going off and folks having conversations nearby the door. Overall, paying more for another place is definitely the better option for a more comfortable and relaxing stay.

It’s pretty old motel property the room was non smoking but smelled like it was smoked in years ago still . Clean room bed was comfortable with good pillows. Basically a basic place to crash , the lady at the desk was not friendly nor mean

We checked into this hotel after a long day of travel. We were stuck to pick this place because all other hotels in the Nashville area were extremely expensive. So we thought we would take our chances on this one for half the price. I wish we would have drove further and stayed somewhere else.
The room was filthy. Dirt all over the walls, gross stuff on the toilet. Hair all over the place, a used razor head left near the sink. Beds and table were falling apart. The room smelled disgusting. We felt really uncomfortable in the room.
We spoke with the person who checked us in - and she acted surprised that the room was dirty. She gave us “the only other room available”. Thankfully this one was slightly cleaner - but it smelled of cigarette smoke. It was tolerable, but a e slept on top of the bed. Truly was frightened that we we going to get bed bugs or roaches.
This place needs a lot of work. I don’t know where the positive reviews are coming from, must be the people who work here leaving the review.

There was nothing unique about the property at all. The walls in the rooms are dirty and the base boards are falling away from the walls. Attention is needed at this property. I would never stay here again.

I would deffinitly stay here again! Went on a girls weekend getaway with my mom and sister and we were all very comfortable staying here. Beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to others :)

Very dirty and uncomfortable and had a weird smell. The crib they had was dirty and broken. The lobby smelled like cigarettes. Would definitely not go back!

The room was extremely small…barely enough room to walk.
Advertised as a smoke free facility, but people were smoking in the doorway of the room right next to us and on a bench right outside our door! The manager made little effort to fix the situation.

Sarah at the front desk gave us a different room. First room smelled, probably smokers although it was a no smoking room. Something gross and crusty in the corner of the bathroom floor. Possibly dried vomit. Shower not clean, sink cracked…
Room next door was second room. Smelled fresher and no vomit, sink not cracked but housekeeping obviously gives a lick and a promise. It was a layover rest in our two day drive so we chose not to shower, just slept, dressed and went in search of a nice breakfast. Will skip Red Roof in the future.

The room was neat and clean, little small in bathroom but we only needed room for the night as we were passing through on our travels. We had pet so was nice to be able to park outside our room and not need to go into the office and down a hall of rooms.

First room was hotboxed of cigarette smoke. Terrible for my asthma. Second room had blood on the covers. Third room was fine,UNTIL we heard yelling and screaming. Looked out our window to find ourselves surrounded by cops arresting a violent man. I didn’t even feel safe to sleep or leave my car out there. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
