Clean hallways, clean floors, clean bathroom, clean rooms, shopping centers across the street

Lighting in the lobby was dim, entry doors smokey and key card didn't work after hours for those doors. Staff were not visible at front desk, had to ring a bell several times for service. Door to room was not aligned properly, had to forcefully close with weight of body. A lot of traffic from other guests, some shady looking characters. Front desk staff accused my young adult sons of not having a room, even threatening to call law enforcement for them sitting in breakfast area, causing me to come down to verify our room; initially the staff insisted no one was occupying that room. It was eventually cleared about but the staff were not welcoming and stereotyped my sons. Although the room was clean, there was an unidentified bug observed on the wall. We were there 2 nights for a memorial for my father, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room; but I would not book this hotel again.
