I can’t imagine it gets any worse than this place. Homeless people in the parking lot. Gangsters hanging out on the balconies. Television didn’t work. I was worried my vehicle was going to get broken into the entire time I was there. I was so uncomfortable I checked out at 8pm and didn’t stay overnight.

Don’t stay here, unless the government is paying for it. This place is rough, or rather the people who end up here are. Not knowing this we booked a stay here while visiting family in Riverside. It’s pretty much the local homeless and marijuana smokers hang out. The staff do their best, but it’s a losing battle. Random people yelling and fighting at night, loud music, police coming out, paramedics coming out, fire department coming out, pretty sure we even saw CPA come out one day. We did our best to not be there during the day, but the nights seemed to be when the party started with loud music till around 3 or 4 AM. One morning a fight started between two guys outside our door. I’m actually surprised the door didn’t get broken open with the amount of banging against it going on. I can say by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Spend the extra money and go to a better hotel. Days Inn across the street didn’t look too bad.

Overall it was a pleasant experience. Nice warm and cozy room the attendant that checked in today took care of my problem with checking in quickly and was very pleasant and great customer service skills.

I understand hotels get run down but if you don’t have any heater working in the room wasn’t right. Otherwise people were very friendly. Room was clean except the bath tub could be cleaned better. The pictures we see on google are old pictures.

Went to check in and the hotel was not clean. Asked for another room and they didn’t have any more rooms and they haven’t issued me a refund. Didn’t even stay there. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

The room was so dirty you couldn't walk around without shoes on, every towel had black and brown stains, furniture was so dirty I had to buy bleach to feel decently comfortable touching it, roaches everywhere in the room( specifically coming from the floorboards sizing from super tiny to at least 1-2 inches) literal dirt and grim all over the walls. Our door was already wide open upon checking in, the safety lock had to broken off and literal torched marks surrounding the locks on the doors. Homeless/ drug addicts gather on the stair ways creating a giant block and terrible smell, they basically live there all of their things were constantly all over the stairs including pill bottles and needles. There was never any comfort I felt in the room or even on the property itself, people were constantly yelling, blasting crazy loud music out of their rooms with the doors open, the beds were so disgusting we had to buy a full comforter set and sheets just to sleep on it but had to move the bed away from the wall as roaches would come out of the headboard. They never once gave us new towels or toilet paper on their own, we had to go to the office to ask for 4 towels for the rest of our stay and were only given two and those of course were also dirty. The stay was complete unpleasant unless you're absolutely fine living in filth, bug infestation or basically in a homeless compound. I would never stay here again and do not recommend anyone else staying there either.

Walking into the room it smelled a bit off I thought it was Just me the bed smelled a lot like pee, after a while I couldn’t stand the smell and I asked the front desk if I can get my sheets changed the lady was super rude and once she took one of the sheets off she said it was peed on and was trying to blame us for it. She asked if we had brought pets and clearly there was no sign of a pet,rudely she look the sheets and brought new ones. I can’t believe I was layoff around in someone’s pee while claimed th sheets were changed hours before we checked in.

Arrived late and I was nervous just to get out of my car on the property with the number of homeless people hanging around in the parking lot. Once I saw the room I left immediately and booked a different hotel.

Property and area good from outside. Room freshly painted. However bathroom ceiling moulding and falling down. Mirror was worn out, backing showing through. Toilet base below bowl dirty & discusting. Bedding dirty and old style. Window curtains full of holes. Only 2 small towels, no hand towels, no face cloths.

My rating for you is zero stars, as they moved me to a room full of cockroaches. I do not recommend this hotel. It is dirty and leads to diseases because of the cockroaches.

I requested towels gave me a dirty and one small towel for the floor like a bath mate . The room had a mans dirty underwear on the floor behind the bed of the corner . In which I picked up and had to put in the trash can . Very rude at window . Looked to be middle eastern guy did not catch his name . Had no towels in room thats why I had yo go ask . I really want my money back and they refused . Highly dont recommend thos place at all

My boyfriend, son and I booked a room here and the first room we booked smelt like cigarettes (it was a no smoking room) so we asked for a different one. The next one they gave us had 3 cockroaches crawling around on the floor.

Very friendly staff, would be nice to see it cleaner. If I had advice I’d recommend using duvet covers for cleanliness, and offering more than just one towel. However thanks for the stay!

Ive never ever left a review before but this one got me! There were small baby roaches crawling which we didn’t see till the next morning people drinking being loud smoking that went into our non smoking room and this was all night then an ambulance came into the property with a gurney it was horrible and for it being by a great neighborhood by the tyler galleria it was the worst mistake I tried to leave but my husband said we had already paid and we didn’t want to pay double this was our mistake to be honest we should’ve left as soon as we arrived

We were attending a friends gathering n Booked room for overnight staying dropped our bags and when we came back to sleep that night we found the room crawling with roaches on the night stand so of course we didn’t sleep had to drive back home that same night tired and furious ! DONT STAY HERE!

There was a bunch of old furniture outside which homeless would be laying on, especially at night. it felt overall very unsafe and as if there was a “street nightlife” to the motel. The room was basic, but felt dirty and cheap. The comforter had tears in it and was stained. The next morning I told the window (lobby was kept closed most often the time for safety purposes) about my comforter and the lady said it was clean - just stained, but they would change it. I don’t think even the stained comforter should be acceptable. That day, they had changed the comforter but this one was very warn, had tears in it and a large cigarette hole burned into it. I became very sick or I would have just left but I just wanted to rest and not deal with it. The next night I I came home late and turned the light on to find roaches scattering. I didn’t have a count but I saw atleast 5-6 in areas of the room. I was able to kill 3 of them. Again I just didn’t want to deal with checking out and finding another place at midnight. The next night I again saw several roaches. Also another guests small dog pooped outside my room on the walkway and 2 days later it was still there, having never been cleaned by the guest of the staff. Definitely never staying at this place again idk how it could possible be a 6.8/10.

I had to go to 4 different rooms to find 1 with 2 beds. The guy at the front desk was doing his best but isn’t properly trained. Got the room opened the door saw it had two beds closed the door n went to have dinner. There’s was people everywhere just hanging out n down the walk way smoking. Walking through the parking lot there was people again just hanging out bumping their car radio. My friend didn’t feel safe. There’s was a few homeless people squatting, talking to them selves. So went had dinner, got back to the room, n e we were like nope! It smelled like feet n BO. The mattresses had to be at least 20 years old like they were in bad shape. So we closed the door n left. The last thing we need is bed bugs! Jumped back on Expedia n booked a room at the Hotel SpringHill Suites by Marriott n has an awesome rest of our night.
