It is never good when you have a mouse trap under the sink. They put us in a room right next to a room with several dogs who barked quite a bit. We actually left a night early

Please DO NOT COME HERE. All the negative reviews about roaches and bed bugs is the truth. I was in the main office for less than an hour, and two different people came in talking about seeing cockroaches on the floor, seeing a women smoking crack, and filthy furniture.

I didn’t stay because the place smelled awful and was only half cleaned. many people seemed to live there in a permanent way. And it smelled like it. It felt unsafe and unacceptable so I left immediately. I want my money back.

The desk attendant. The room was set amongst some section 8 apartments; lots of screaming at night, witnessed an adult assaulting a child, along with drug deals and police presence. The hotel room was dirty, all the surfaces were sticky; dirty windows, broken locks on the doors. All the vents were covered in black dust….just disgusting. Not what you expect but you get what you pay for.

Room was not clean. Seriously needs new furniture/flooring/faucets/ and more. Room smells like cigarettes. Stairs to get to rooms are like 100 years old. Doors are stained. Needs new paint.

We enjoyed our extended stay at The Wyndham. It is a great location being just minutes away from many shopping areas and the Jersey shore. Our second floor queen studio had a nice view of the woods. The kitchen, dining and living areas were adequate but the induction stove did have a cracked burner. Furnishings are dated but comfortable enough. Definitely will stay here again

The hotel rooms were disgusting. They took me to two different rooms and they were both nasty. You have people that live there that stalk you as you’re walking into one of your the hotel rooms I did not stay there I had to get another hotel they took my $400. I will never stay there and I will never use your company again.

Two towels for 3 people for 5 days - I had to go buy towels, the office did not have any more.
One fork for three people for five days. Had to go buy plastic cutlery.
No cable on the television, only three channels available.
The freezer made so much noise, our three-year-old could not sleep. Neither could we.
The oven did not work, ruining our dinner plans.
Office staff wanted nothing to do with providing any type of customer service.
Not one dish, towel or dish cloth, they advertise a full kitchen, but it is stripped of anything and everything. Not usable.
Heat did not work, we froze.
A cockroach crawled across the nightstand as we watched from our bed.
Ran out of toilet paper, had to buy our own.
Interrupted twice by the fire department checking the fire alarms. I awoken the three-year-old from nap.
Front desk is of no help at all, they literally hide from you.
Breakfast, raw, sausage, hard scrambled eggs, inedible.
I cannot believe this is a Wyndham resort.

The furniture was sticky, the lampshades and the fixtures look like they had rust. The furniture had a wierd residue. For the kind of money spent I recommend staying at the doubletree up the road. The sink smelled something awful and the second floor shower had something brown shoot out of the shower head. I don't recommend staying here at all. It's a great property but they need a lot of TLC and renovations. The rooms were not cleaned properly at all.

The floors were very dirty and there was no housekeeping service, which is not a good thing especially if you have kids. Also there was an issue with our door not being locked when closed and it took a long time for them to fix it, and we were in a rush to head out somewhere but couldn’t leave until our door was fixed.

FILTYH!! They would not bring extra towels to us, Would not provide a blow dry (normal necessity). Carboonoxide went off, said they didn’t have our full booking, customer service was HORRIBLE, attitudes etc. Again, filthiest place I have ever stayed. EXTREMELY disappointing and disgusting.

horrible hair in bed and shower dirty complained did nothing. had to leave. they gave me a number to call for refund. they never returned my 5 calls. this place is a roach coach stay away. also there were others in the lobby also complaining the front desk guy started handing out sheets cuz apparently housekeeping called out and they just made the beds dirty! or don’t make the beds at all never got refund and left the hotel at 10pm to find a new one.

So disappointed. I’ve never stayed here before and will never again . Less than enthusiastic reception - mostly on their phone. The steps to our room were filthy - obviously not swept in a month and plantings were either broken off or mostly dead and not dormant due to the weather. The room had a noisy heat/ ac system. There were paint drips all over the floors and sink. The sofa was stained and needs to be replaced. The surfaces were recently shellaced or varnished and still sticky . The clock radio had a shredded cord and I was afraid to plug it in . The shower curtain was too short so the water went all over the floor . The toilet handle had to be jiggled to stop it from running. The sink was clogged so water drained very slowly. There was no hair dryer. The “ complementary breakfast “ consisted of little more than a bagel , toast , waffles ( no butter ) inedible oatmeal ( no milk ) and maybe there was something in the warming trays but they were empty. No fruit or cereal .
Needless to say , I will not be recommending Wyndham hotels to anyone soon .
I have been staying in hotels all over the world for years and have never written a negative review- I guess my good luck finally ran out .

What I didn't like about the property is that they have a roach problem. There was a big one in the refrigerator and 2 in the bathroom the next morning where I didn't take a shower and slept with the lights on all night. I had to put my clothes in garbage bags overnight I was afraid to leave my clothes out of fear that the roaches would get in my clothes and belongings. I was not able to get any rest for the 5 hours I was there. It was a last minute thing. Wow never again.

The pictures are far from what the suites actually looks like. The shower tub would fill up with water and was slippery, also there was not a shower curtain to block water from going onto the floor. The place was out dated. There was sand on the floor.

We checked in the door would not lock. We let the front desk know. One hour later no one came the outside has no light. We decided to cancel reservation because there is mold and the lamps don’t work. We left and checked in at the Residence Inn. The room smelled like paint. This place should pay people to stay there. The only give you bath towels no hand towels. There are holes I really didn’t feel comfortable. The state should come in and inspect the property. I recommend going to Residents Inn by Marriot.

We had made a reservation for a room at Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham in Tinton Falls, based on what it was said on the website and pictures of the room. When we got there the room was nowhere near what it was depicted in the pictures. #1.One of the stairs leading to the room had vomit on the first three steps closer to the room door. The other stairs which had no vomit were extremely dark making it very dangerous at night. #2.There were bugs crawling out of the drawer on the night table near the bed. #4. The wood of the headboard of the bed was all chipped. #5.The tub had a rust stain and the drain control knob was missing and in its place there was a hole full of rusted chipped pieces falling out. #6.There was a stain in the sofa bed and the freezer rack was all rusted. #7.The room was extremely dark despite the 2 lamps in the room. #8.The chimney was all covered in dust. #9. The closet doors were broken coming out of the hinges making it dangerous to be there.
I had to immediately try to book another room at the last minute because of the poor unsanitary condition of this room.
This was explained to the lady at the check-in, Suchi. I see that my card was charged despite us explaining this that same night and leaving the premises.
We booked this place believing in the reputation of Wyndham and what was portrayed on the website. This was a false advertisement.
I am very surprised that this place was part of Wyndham and that Expedia is part of this place.

Walls and ceilings had been repaired but still showed damage. No sheets on the pull out. I had to go to the office 3 times to get blankets and pillows and towels. The room was in no way equipped for what they claim is for 6- luckily we were only 3 but had only 2 towels. Top it all off there was a roach on the table in the am.

Staff seemed bothered by the simple ask for extra towels. They seemed surprised that we were expecting maid services. The room felt sticky, and the pull out bed was a thin piece of foam, where was the mattress. There broken electronics outside and extremely noisy.

Black mold in ceiling; curtains had tears; sheet and stain and found a hair in the sick. No help from front desk who did not speak English well. I asked for sheets for pull out couch; staff couldn’t bring to our room. We had to go pick up sheets. Complimentary breakfast was below average. I asked to speak with manager, left a message, never got a call back. We were attending lacrosse tournament; another family we knew who booked this hotel, left in found another hotel. They had similar experience and refused to stay.

This hotel was very dirty and run down. The outside looks ok but once in the room, the floors, walls, cabinets... were all filthy. The vinyl flooring was even coming off the bathroom floor. The oven was so broken the door fell off when we tried to use it. The laundry was also broken which they didnt bother to tell us when we asked if they had a laundry room. We were also killing spiders and bees in the room all weekend.

This property does not come close to meeting the standards of Wyndam Hotel. Romm needed a total makeover. Room was not cleaned on a daily basis. Towels were not replaced on a daily basis. There was no extra roll of toilet paper. There was no bathmat for outside the shower. There was no ice tray in the refrigerator. New matress needed,

Some things in room needed to fixed night stand drawer shower drain backs up . And sign at counter said 200.00 deposit for depot card users paid with credit card and still had to pay deposit .

Guy at reception desk was more interested in talking to woman coworker than handling my check in. Room was large and towels soft and absorbent. Handle on shower falling off and shower floor was very slippery. No one at reception desk to check out this morning. Waited why my wife got coffee and bagels and left because no one was working this morning?

The door to the room wouldn’t lock, one of the windows were busted the shower was rusted.

The front desk clerk was in her phone when I checked in and was not very helpful. She did not answer my questions properly because she was occupied with her phone conversation and she gave poor directions on how to get to my room. Also, the room did not have towels or hangers in the closet. I called the front desk and got a busy signal. I had to walk back over to the lobby and she handed me towels but said she would have someone bring hangers in the morning. I never received them.

The property was clean, but dated and worn. Additionally, in today's world where identify theft is rampant, your clerks should NOT be making photocopies of my driver's license. I would not stay here again.
