It was pretty clear the place hadn't been cleaned that day or maybe for a while. Fresh soap was nice along with the large mini fridge, microwave and TV with cable. Worth the rate, but I wouldn't stay here often.

This was the worst it is right across from tent city homeless people and all night people are knocking on doors asking for money!!!! I do not recommend this place and expedia should remove them from the hotel list!!! YUCK

Where do I begin the door has so much light and wind coming thru I had to put the chair with one of my bag in it to hold i tightly close. The mattress was hard a rock it was a king size bed with 3 flat pillows on it. The walls had holes in them and the walls was filthy. The bathroom toilet paper holder was about to fall off the wall. The towel was very hard and our 2nd night they gave us towels that look like a mechanic clean his dirty and oily hands on. The tv on the first night kept freezing up and we thought we need batteries went and got some and that didn't fix the issue. The front desk clerk came down and reset the tv finally could watch TV. There are some many people around hanging out near the property. A lady in a wheelchair undressing in the street in front of the hotel another man hiding behind the dumpster. We couldn't even get any ice the ice machine was broke It was very scary and unsafe I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

I had no idea the property was in a neighborhood riddled with poverty and drugs and drug abuse. I didn't expect that. The property was clean and it wasn't loud, I just didn't expect to see that coming from out of town. It was grey duct tape all over my room floor, for some reason. AND the staff issued me an extended hourly stay, but changed his mind and made me leave at regular checkout time, which means I had to rush and pack and get out of the room. It was unfair and they will NOT gain any more business from me

This hotel was horrible. We had bedbugs and hookers walking around outside. One of the reservations the hotel said they didn’t have. We went and stayed at a different hotel. You should not be making reservations for this dump.

Upon checking in my room 401 at the motel 6 the door was open the ceiling was linking and I was double charge for the same day. I had to cancel my online appointment and now I’m knocked out from my awards which I find very unfair, I never experienced anything like this and I’m sure something should be done because I’m a valuable customer and this should be reviews because I don’t have to settle for these conditions which wasn’t my fault due to the new audit

it's in a not so nice area. Random people kept knocking on the door all night. Room itself wasn't horrible. Bed was comfortable. Water hot. For the price it's an overall good deal, just hated the area

We ignored the poor older reviews online and were glad we did. The place seems to have undergone a recent renovation, so likely the owners took a cue from those pre-2020 complaints. The room was nice - if spare - and well lit. The microwave and fridge were clean and working. There was no desk if you needed a workspace, and the WiFi seemed a bit slow. Also, there was no place to hang up clothing and - oddly - no hooks inside the bathroom for a change of clothes. All in all though, we were comfortable there throughout our four day stay. One other positive feature: Rooms are entered from outside instead of via a common hallway, a point of concern if you're reading this while Covid is still ongoing.

I booked my stay in route to the hotel, was not allowed to check in, requested a refund and was told the go to hell by management and they refused to accommodate me. The manager Uttered racial slurs and homophobic remarks that were totally uncalled for! The hotel also would not cooperate with Expedia is attempting to refund my money! They are terrible people and should not work in hospitality….

This place is located next to many restaurants and stores but you wont be outside past 7 pm unless you are a daredevil. I was surprised they did not have ice. I used my own coffee maker because there was non. There is no closet and not even a nail to hang a shirt.. AWFUL PLACE

The room wasn't clean, had smoking products in it when it was suppose to be a non-smoking room. When i first setup the reservation it said i can pay at the location the day i get there but instead they charge my card anyway before I got there.

the roomwas real clean! the toilet was slow toflush! I could only get warm water in the shower! there was no coffee pot as advertised! the tvremote was diffcult to operate! I will be back though!

There was a lot of loitering in this area. There were people out walking around the property all times of night. Several people actually live in this hotel. It’s newly remodeled but not very sanitary. Expensive rate for that location and kind of activity. Not a safe place for a family or small children overnight

This place is situated in a sketchy part of Decatur. The place itself was spruced up. The rooms were clean with new furnishings and very bare bones. Unfortunately,the area it was in had a lot of noisy foot traffic as late as4:30 am.

Bed is comfortable but overall dirty Someone dropped a pill. Claw cut pieces. The iron plate is stained and burnt. The hair in the shower booth.

the shower curtain had spots (black) that looked like mold. the curtain would not stay closed next to the wall where the shower head is located due to the shower rod being on an angle that allowed the curtain to slide away from the wall. the shower room base boards looked like their is something dark around the floor and walls.
