After a 10 hour flight from SFO and a nightmare experience at Heathrow Airport (5 hours on the tarmac, followed by 3 hours at customs/baggage hall - only to be told at 10pm to leave without our luggage) we arrived at Wroxton House Hotel and were warmly welcomed by Tina at 11:30pm. She kindly opened the bar and offered to make us fresh sandwiches since we last ate at breakfast.
The hotel and grounds are gorgeous and the location is excellent - a beautiful village only 3 miles from the M40 with easy access to Banbury, Warwick Castle, etc.
Tina, thank you for your amazing hospitality. You helped end our long day on a really positive. We will be back!
